    I have been learning how to wire wrap, and your videos are incredible! I really appreciate the beauty and simplicity in your designs. So many wire artists want to create incredibly complicated pieces, and while I admire their creativity, I really can't understand why they even put stones in the pieces they create. I feel that their designs detract from the stones, and I would much rather showcase their beauty.

    I'm always looking for wire work that shows off the beautiful stones I have instead of a lot of wire, and you always fit the bill! What a wonderful wire wrap! Thank you, and have a wonderful holiday!

    Oh my goodness I am trying to make this with 20 g wire from hobby lobby. I switched to a copper wire because my gold tone wire broke on me. I imagine square wire is easier to manage because the round wire sure wants to roll around. I am determined though.

      Ahh yes the round wire can be quite slippery, but I admire your determination, you got this!

    How do you decide what prices to charge for your pieces? Your prices are quite reasonable. Do you base it on the cost of the wire, the stone and your time? Your prices seem very good for your skill and popularity.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I take into account the price of materials and also add a wage for my time. Thank you.

    How do you figure out the amount of wire or length of wire you need to start the project? For instance you started with 15 inches of wire ,how did figure the length out.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      I just take a guess and try to overestimate so that's why I usually have excess wire I end up trimming off

    This looks like it would work ok with a slightly irregular stone. I was wondering if there is any reason you wouldn't use square wire?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The square should work but it might twist a bit when you wrap it around

      @@OxanaCraftsI love that you design with both round and square wire. I personally prefer the round so it's nice you design with both. ❤️Thank you Oxana!
