Just shot a music video for 3 days using this gimbal and a Blackmagic Cinema Camera. Around a 5.5 pound payload with lens. My arm was about to fall off, but it was manageable and produced some terrific results. It handled the almost 6 pound payload wonderfully. Great bang for buck.

I am purchasing a Sony a6500 with a Sigma Art 1.8 18-35mm lens along with an Aputure Amaran AL-H198 light, with a Rode mini mic pro, and a 5 inch Feelworld F570 monitor and possibly a small Rig cage for the a6500. I am primarily a wedding videographer and have severe rheumatoid arthritis. I have experience shooting with Canon Mark III on a DJI Ronin, but recently the arthritis in my elbow is preventing me from carrying so much weight. Pretty soon I will need an elbow replacement and since I don't want to change careers I am looking for the most light weight stabilization solution out there. I am thinking of going mirrorless with the sony a7iii and have my eyes on the zhiyun, but I'm curious on how light this option is, and if there is anything else you might suggest that could help. Hi Brian, I have only been into video for a year and have never owned a stabilizer. I want more flexibility in creative shots. I tried a cheap steadicam 90.00 the Yelungu. It was junk. I sent it back the next day. I guess you get what you pay for. I have a Nikon D3200. I have a fairly small budget to spend but my biggest concern is the best value keeping in mind I am a beginner. Hi Brian, I have been searching for days to try and find a gimble that would support my set-up. Could you please tell me if you think the Zhiyun Crane Plus would balance with an A7r II + 35mm sigma 1.4 (E Mount) which is 737g and 120mm long. Total weight is 1.35kg, well under the max payload. However, it is the balance of the weight I am concerned about. I know the crane 2 can do it, but I like the smaller crane plus for travelling. thanks mate!

I will have a payload of 2.93lbs (a7iii + sony 16-35mm f2.8 GM) and I am unable decide between the crane plus (5.5 cap) or the Crane 2 (7lb cap). Please help. Do I really need the oversized crane 2 to handle my noted payload.
If you have the patience that's a no brainer for me. The Ronin s is going to be soooo worth the wait just because the motor in the back of the gimbal is so much less intrusive. And it's DJI, all their products are the best. And cuz you can mount it to an RC Car. Andd..... I'll stop there, but yes.... I'd wait. The only thing is last time I checked I didn't see a price and a weight capacity. I'd just make sure it's able to carry at least 1lb or more of your camera. Hopefully that helps! Thanks!!!!

Hi Brian, I have been searching for days to try and find a gimble that would support my set-up. Could you please tell me if you think the Zhiyun Crane Plus would balance with an A7r II + 35mm sigma 1.4 (E Mount) which is 737g and 120mm long. Total weight is 1.35kg, well under the max payload. However, it is the balance of the weight I am concerned about. I know the crane 2 can do it, but I like the smaller crane plus for travelling. thanks mate!

I will have a payload of 2.93lbs (a7iii + sony 16-35mm f2.8 GM) and I am unable decide between the crane plus (5.5 cap) or the Crane 2 (7lb cap). Please help. Do I really need the oversized crane 2 to handle my noted payload.

If you have the patience that's a no brainer for me. The Ronin s is going to be soooo worth the wait just because the motor in the back of the gimbal is so much less intrusive. And it's DJI, all their products are the best. And cuz you can mount it to an RC Car. Andd..... I'll stop there, but yes.... I'd wait. The only thing is last time I checked I didn't see a price and a weight capacity. I'd just make sure it's able to carry at least 1lb or more of your camera. Hopefully that helps! Thanks!!!!

Hey Brian. Can you add this gimbal to a Steadicam articulating arm? I think it would eliminate the fatigue of carrying the gimbal by hand. I have the Steadicam vest and arm and would like to try it, once I have one of these gimbals in my possession.
Actually I do have the Zhyun gimbal for my GoPro. I could try that, but mine never gets heavy.
Hey, man! Really liked your video. I have a Sony A7II and I'm looking for a gimbal. The one that really looked interesting for me is the Kylin M. I have a car vlogging channel, so I really have to do lots of low shots, therefore the Kylin looks really good for me. What do you think about the Kylin M gimbal? Do you thing I could get something better for my Sony A7II?

So now I'm asking you... what gimbal would you advice me for mostly sports-filming and also cinematic stuff? I noticed the Zhiyun Crane Plus which is my favourite but the Feiyutech a2000 is also very good but $250 less expensive. Does the Crane plus outweigh the a2000 and justify the higher price?
