Great video! October weather in NOLA is very nice. One of my favorite memories from living there is exploring the French Quarter on Halloween night and seeing the creative and outrageous costumes!
@@AshleyandChristian That's great. I went to college in Mississippi(USM) but made regular trips back home and brought some friends along to introduce them to New Orleans and "corrupt" them😁
@@garrettreed6166yeah, other parts of the south always relate New Orleans to " corruption" 😂😂 hardly anyone knows what it's like to grow up in the French Quarter..talk about corruption.🤣🤣
Great video! Been to NOLA before but going back again this year for Halloween! This video has not only given me great vacation inspiration but also made me even more inpatient to go!
i'm going this october thank you for this video highlighting oct in new orleans!! im so excited! i keep seeing mixed things about the weather some people say its cool/wear light jackets but ive also seen it in the 80s. curious how it was when y'all were there? :)
It was cool! We were comfy in jeans and a t shirt. I’m actually going in October this year again as well and I’ll be bringing shorts/short sleeves & pants! you just never know with NOLA haha
Great video you guys!!!! I have no idea why I never thought to visit NOLA during the month of October ??…🤦🏾♀️ Well I will be visiting this October for sure. I love Nola and Halloween so this trip should be epic. Again, great video!!!
Ah man! This makes me so sad that we didn’t go now! 😭 Your guys’ outfits were the best! Those skeletons with the names were so fun and creative. Those beignets looked SOOO good!
We felt good in jeans and t shirts! I'm going again at the end of October and am bringing everything from shorts to jeans haha. It's pretty unpredictable
Love this video so much! You guys did an excellent job capturing the very essence of New Orleans. You ask what skeleton was my favorite... definitely "DEAD END" 😂😂😂 Also, in case anyone is wondering....we say "Yat" a lot bc it refers to an accent that locals in the city have. It's sounds much like New Yorkers with a very heavy accent, but with a French twist. Especially, when we refer to WHO DAT!!!??!!! ❤ Geaux Saints!
@@AshleyandChristian river cruise for sure. There are so many historical museums around the French quarter. Cafe du monde, French market. Outside of New Orleans they have so many houses to visit. They are so many things to do.
@@AshleyandChristian I plan on going to New Orleans soon. I live an hour away. I used to live close to New Orleans. It’s awesome to talk y’all. My friends and I are huge hikers and we love trips.
