Hi Swan, I'm following you from Italy and I thank you for this content which I consider very useful and well done.
Regarding the Hivermapper and AutoPi projects, you didn't say how many km you travel on average per month
For the DIMO AutoPi, it doesn't matter how much you drive. Just need to turn on your car once per week to get full rewards.
For Hivemapper, the amount I drive has varied and unfortunately they don't have a good way to track it in their dashboard besides manually tracking it. But I probably average about 50miles driving per day. My Hivemapper earnings have fallen considerably over the last few weeks, I'll go into detail on that in my month end review video which will be published this Wednesday.
The key is to go early like you if not early you can roi never even on good projects.
My downside that this is projects are good in USA and Canada maybe Australia and were I live in eastern Europe is hard sometimes to go early on a project that shippes only in a part of world for example.

Yes being early is very important. As you can see I got into a lot of these projects either in testnet or when they were only making a few $ a month. Everybody waits and FOMOs in once things get super profitable, which is not what you should do. But the good thing about a lot of these miners is they are relatively cheap and have no ongoing costs, which is a big advantage over ASIC, GPU, and CPU mining.
Yea I wish more projects would ship globally initially so everyone could participate. I have another project that looks really interesting that I will be reviewing soon, but it's only available in the US at the moment.

Great video!! How is it possible to have zero expenses by doing mapping ?
Hivemapper does not recommend mapping just to map. You should be mapping by doing your normal driving. Technically I had fuel and depreciation expenses when I was driving around to just map in the past few months, but that expense was pretty negligible when I was making $100+ an hour to map. Unfortunately profitability has gone way down in the past few weeks, so not nearly as lucrative anymore.
I'm surprised more miners don't start mining Bitcoin Cash.
BCH hashrate at around 4EH is as profitable to mine as BTC and easier to mine blocks with far less competition.
BCH is up over 300% in the past year, about twice the gains as BTC.
The BCH chart looks like the 2016 Bitcoin chart and IF it follows some of the gains seen then mining some BCH could be a smart move.
Perhaps you could do a mining deep dive video on BCH and the potential upside of mining it ?

You said you've had your AutoPi(s) since late 2022 -- if I recall, they only come with one year of connectivity. What happened last year when that ran out, they send you a bill or did they just stop earning?

Same here. I received my AutoPi in January 2023 (Over a year ago) and it still works and earns just fine
