Where did you get your price data for MapMetrics? As far as I know their V2 token has no value as it’s not listed on any exchange. Their V1 token was originally listed but it’s since been replaced with their V2 token

Great video review! Do you have more than one internet line to your home? Wondering what the maximum number of miners you can have before net saturation/slowdown. What's your physical setup like? Are all the home miners centrally located?
I have a separate internet network for all of my miners. I have never noticed any slowdown or had any connectivity issues

hi Swan, always love your video's. But why do you have a fry weather station and weatherxm. On fry you can buy a bring your own device license and attach it to your weatherxm station. This way you only need one weatherstation. Just curious.
I got the fry weather station before you could link it with weatherxm. I think the earnings are higher having them separate too

I'm missing a few on this list. Thanking if getting the Geod disk, and so pissed that i didn't pick up 5g equipment earlier with lower prices. I have a grocery store i can put it in a busy area, was looking in to external one, but maybe internal can also work. What's your thought given your experience with internal unit?
I think external may give you better coverage/rewards, but not sure how much more.

Great video. So I’m interested in the Hyfix so I used your link. My issue is I want one of the $400.00 stations but I wasn’t sure which one to purchase because they seem to have different specs. I’m in the U.S. which one do I purchase? Thanks
The cheaper version is the double band miner, which only wants half as much. Best to go with the triple band IMO

I run my ETCMC nodes on them, there are a couple other apps I have been trying, but nothing very profitable I have found yet
There are no instructions on setting up m2pro on the crank website. Is it now possible to connect with any firmware version? And how to set it up?
I think they aren’t publicly displaying the guide since the MXC team has used to several times to block people from installing Crankk. Open up a ticket on Crankk’s discord and ask for the install instructions

I have a helium antenna which currently mines IOT.
I was thinking of getting hyfix satellite triple band miner.
Would mounting the miner next or near the helium antenna make a difference in rewards. Last thing I want to do is buy even a bigger pole so it's above the helium antenna.
having the antenna's next to each other will not have any impact on rewards. As you can see in the clip of mine, I have my hyfix station right next to my helium antennas. I actually have my weatherXM and fry weather stations mounted on top of my helium antenna and another antenna I'm using for a project called wingbits.
The hyfix station has been a great purchase and I think the Geodnet project still has some great long term potential. It's one of the few projects out there solving a real world problem.

Yea I use the deeper mini. Not sure what the others yield. They have a tier system that gives you higher rewards by staking tokens and being online for longer.
Which one of these do you have to open up ports or set up port forwarding for?
Because in the locations I want to install these network devices, I don't have login access to the router.
So any of these devices that require ports to be opened or port forwarding would be a major deal killer.

Hey, what’s up I use the mapmetrics and I don’t know where you’re getting the value of mapmetrics right now at .0035. It’s listed a lot lower than that. I hope you’re right, but I don’t see what you’re seeing.
I got it from some recent sales I saw on a P2P dex called famousfoxes.com. There is not a lot of volume, but that’s the only activity I could find

Assuming you have a $3K-$10K budget range to invest in DEPIN, here are some quick questions: 1 - Besides Hivemapper, which ones would you prioritize profit-wise? 2 - Weather XM and/or Fry Hign End Weather Miner. Which one would you prefer if you had to choose? Would it be possible to set those in a balcony instead of a roof? Are they OK after heavy rainfalls, storms, etc? 3 - Any idea if DIMO would work in the southern hemisphere? Their website and customer support states countries in the northern hemisphere solely. Would prefer to test DIMO rather than Motus Mini if I could. I got confirmation in Discord though that Motus Mini has no geo restrictions. Thanks for your help. Will keep watching/learning from you here and using your ref codes! :)
I would go with weatherxm over fry, they are going live with their token very soon so we should know profitability. Balcony should be fine. You could try dimo in the southern hemisphere, if it doesn’t work, you could always sell it. They are selling for at or higher than the purchase price on the secondary market at the moment since they are on back order
Whatever you decide. Wait a 1 to 1.5 years for the bear market. I want to get into mining/depin now too. It’s just not the time unfortunately.

@@SwanCastleCrypto I have a few Tier 2 and One Tier 1 (I think it is Tier 2 where all the earnings are though) Abit more complex than other projects as it is only Linux based but once they are running they are golden. Also there are only just over 500 nodes online at the minute, so I believe we are still very early

I have 5 fry satellite miners and 4 etcmc nodes running right now. I ordered a full node from etcmc in November but it never showed up. I ordered 2 Hivemapper cameras and perordered 5 fry nodes. I have been looking at Denet storage as I have a lot of equipment sitting around. I started out trying to set up bitcoin and Litecoin miners on solar but had a medical set back and slowly getting the solar system up. everything is paid for and sitting in boxes. Just wonder what you think about chia or any other storage projects as I might sell all the Asic miners I have and do something else off my setup.
I have looked into chia in the past and found the earnings not to be worth the cost. I did a video where I shared my findings on it last year. I have an xaminer, but wouldn’t recommend it.

they finally found my full etc node order and sent it express mail. They have fixed every problem I have had so I'm happy with them. So far I have learned to don't buy just one project and don't freak out if the earning go down because the always seem to go back up. I started mining to build a retirement for myself and it is slowly building up. And I am not ready for the bull run but hope it comes this year. Im still thinking about adding more etcmc nodes and still buying into new projects.
@scottcarpenter6527 I think diversifying into multiple projects is a good strategy. At least that is my approach. Any one project could go to zero tomorrow and it wouldn’t bother me much.

Yep I have one. I tried setting mine up but couldn't get it to work. I still need to troubleshoot it one of these days. Looks like a good project to jump into given how successful DIMO has been.

you're guess is as good as mine. I had read estimates of weather data being worth about $1 a day, which would put the WXM token at about $0.20. But I sure wouldn't pay that much, so who knows.

Averaging about 50 miles per day…crazy huh?! I have been pretty strategic about it lately though, trying to find areas that haven’t been mapped

Do you know if your city has a multiplier on rewards ? Also is there a way to know how much extra you get for mapping areas that have not been mapped ? I am just trying to gauge if my city will do decent on rewards. With the longer lead time on getting the camera I fear it may not be profitable in my area once I finally get it. they're not actually on a back order per say, but more or less delivery time is stretched to sustain the blockchain token price. picture thousands people making 1,000 a week lmfao. the token would die like HNT did for a hot minute.
Interesting theory
I've noticed this seems to be a trend with all crypto device/nodes and so on. Even some Asic Miners going for 25k and their made from the same material as the $1500 ones lol just different software/chips but yet some will be out of stock. just seems a bit odd lol. always good to have a skeptical eye with any crypto project. But from what I have seen so far, Hivemapper is one of the good projects.
