During this time, the village chief's daughter approached Guru Ji with a request for water. Bhai Mehtab Singh, demonstrating his unwavering faith and commitment, pierced the ground with his spear, and water miraculously sprang forth. This act earned him the name "Mehdiana Sahib."
The gurdwara commemorates these events and serves as a place of reverence and worship for Sikhs. It stands as a reminder of the rich history and spiritual heritage of Sikhism, attracting devotees and visitors from all over the world who come to pay their respects and seek blessings.
