I’m an OG with trust issues, and I feel you. But when it comes to growth, you’ve got to be able to trust some people, or your growth will be limited to your own understanding.
So, trusting people doesn’t mean you blindly trust them with your money, girl, family, etc.
But if you’re doing business, have a contract with stipulations that protect you in case they start with that bull sh*t.
Never go into business with someone who has not invested significant time and money in the business already.
Trust people according to the relationship. I’m not gonna trust my assistant to be my financial advisor because that’s not what she does and it’s not what I hired her for.
And I’m not gonna trust my financial advisor to be a damn good assistant. That’s not what he does, and it’s not what I hired him for.
You get what I’m saying. Only trust qualify people with proven track records to do exactly what you are hiring them to do.

I'm 43 and have no friends and its just like he said, fear of judgement, rejection, my own low opinion and view of my self. I didn't cultivate the friendships I had in the past and now its been years since I've spoken to anyone. I got married and didn't invite anyone I know outside my parents and sister and even those three I'm pretty estranged from. In fact that was last year and I haven't seen my dad since and talked to my mom and sis like 4 times. I gotta do better but don't know where to start

Man, your videos are priceless. Whenever I'm able to watch one, I hit like before watching it because I know it's gonna be dope. As far as a side hustle... that gene went to my brothers, skipped me and went to my 10 year old who started making and selling jewelry. Even my homeboy was like "Dang, your brother owned they own business, now your daughter? WTF happened to you?" Couldn't even respond. I tried to do the other "hustle" but couldn't do it after my first sale. I heard too many stories about being locked up. Not for this brotha. Call me a punk. I'm a punk not going to jail over some nonsense. I don't do prison privileges (you know....once you get out, the ladies all on your tip, the hood treats you like a king coming from a war, gettin them hood perks). You ain't getting nothing tangible that can help you grow, just gettin' into more ish that's going to land your a$$ back in the joint.
As far as clothes, we need to stop being label hoes. See what happened to Jim Jones? Yukmouth said something dope about it. He said, "If you need designer clothes to be fly, then the fly ain't in you." Real talk. I don't wear J's but I wear nice kicks. I can get my pants and shirts from Walmart to the Goodwill to make it look good. My savings is on point!
