Founder is no ordinary loudspeaker. Paradigm treated every part, large and small, as if it were the most crucial piece of the whole. Every component has been thoroughly researched, designed, engineered, and tested.
Aluminum Magnesium Ceramic (AL-MAC™) High Frequency Driver:
Founder’s tweeter is made lighter and stronger with Paradigm's special combination of Aluminum, Magnesium, and Ceramic materials. It has a natural resistance to uncontrolled resonance that makes it far more accurate and responsive than other designs.
    Aluminum Magnesium (AL-MAG™) Midrange Driver:
Founder’s midrange driver is developed with listener sensitivity in mind. The midrange is in many ways, the most important driver of any speaker design because it produces the most familiar sounds like the human voice.
    Ultra-High-Excursion CARBON-X Unibody Bass Driver:
To maintain clarity in the lowest frequencies, Paradigm has created an ultra-stiff, ultra-strong bass driver made from mineral-infused carbon fiber. It’s molded in a single piece to maintain control at the highest volumes. Combined with our patented ART Surround, it is both detailed and powerful.
    Oblate Spherical Waveguide (OSW™):
Paradigm's research into the evolution of modern home interiors led us to create the OSW™ Waveguide. This uniquely shaped part is used in Founder’s tweeter and midrange drivers.
    Perforated Phase-Aligning (PPA™) Lens:
To protect Founder’s tweeter and midrange driver cones, Paradigm developed the Perforated Phase Aligning (PPA™) Lens. Not only does it look beautiful, it ensures that all frequencies reach the listener’s ears at the same time.
    Cascade Fusion Bracing:
Speaker cabinets should be seen and not heard. To ensure that the driver’s output is entirely uncolored, Paradigm developed Cascade Fusion Bracing.
    Advanced Shock-Mount™ System:
To lower distortion and further maximize driver performance, Paradigm created the Advanced Shock-Mount System™ for both the driver mounting hardware and the cabinet feet.

I just purchased the 80Fs. They replaced KEF R3s and it’s an excellent set of speakers. My listening area is 256 sq feet so tge 80s were great for me. The 100s were just too big for my area.

Been looking at these but haven't heard them. What is the 'value' piece in the floorstanders?

Tell me please , are there any sonic differences between the 80f and the 100f, or is the 100f just designed for a large area?

100f is a completely different sound, much larger sounding than they are. The 80f sounds like a bookshelf, 100f sounds like a large tower, 120h sounds like a wall of speakers

@@sturdyvw I heard the 80F and they do not sound like a bookshelf speaker. They actually sound really good and big, the 100's also sound good but in my opinion the 80's is the way to go unless you have a really big room.

80f sounded big to me today at a brief demo. A very likeable speaker, warm lots of flesh on the bone non fatiguing treble with good resolution. I wondered if bass control could have been tighter but may have been the song

100F far superior. It’s a three way vs two way design. 100 F is sweet spot in Founder series.

Bookshelf speaker are you outta your mind, a bookshelf speaker maybe at the very most bass extension of 45hz. The 80F 28-27hz lol 😂. To me the 80F is just getting into the audiophile territory. Great speaker and it is expensive but not really compare to other audiophile speakers. Awesome video 😎👍👍

I listened to all of the Founder series. The 80 F was disappointing for the money. The 100F are amazing and I own them. In my opinion the 100F are the sweet spot in the Founder series line-up regardless of room.

@@stephenfletcher6801 The sound was not near as good. Three way vs two way. They were good but 80f not worth the money.

You people spent the whole video taking the speakers out of a box, crowing about what the cabinets looked like, and stating statistics that are already available from the manufacturer. Please don't waste our time.
