+taj400 - By the way, I was at that concert, the BoDeans were the opening band and paid $100 to a scalper who ended up sitting next to me and Bono at one point during the concert started criticizing the scalpers and I just gave the guy a look, LOL, the best concert in my life.
Allan Urbina me to,done my rattle listening to this and other u2 tracks.but this one means so fuckin much to me.heroin killed my best mate and took so much from me nearly destroyed me.
This concert was my first bootleg cd from U2. Such a great recording and a perfect show. Highlights all over. Streets, Exit, Bad, and Pride really shines out.
Holy shit I was there for this. I’m 50 now and still remember this to this day. At -3.38 when the crowd goes wild it’s because he literally laid down on his side at the back of on the stage. Best concert ever.
U2's reditions of BAD, relate to all humans in my many phases of their existence, including radicals and non-believers, well to do and the exponential brains of this planet, believers, and anything and anything that requires oxigen. Touching human hearts is a gift that this Band of many bands has, only theirs is exponential to many.
i see this u2 for the first time in lisbon Portugal 15 may 1993 i listening this u2 song bad and i love u2 for ever..the best u2 song for me..love u2 from Portugal..paul
u hit the nail on the head about u2 there, every human feels pain and times of terrible lows, u2 sing about human pain and suffering alot, maybe thats why they seem to connect to millions
This was from April, 1987.....before U2 became a corporation! After all the tours of U2 I saw..every one since 1985, this is the best by far.....simple production...no 360 spaceship.
awesome, really wild that this song was the first song i heard after completing a 37 day program kicking some demons on my back. love this band to death and Bonos voice was always great, but out of this world when he believes and feels the pain behind the lyrics,,note the exit from stage at end from overwhelming even himself!! thanks for posting this song always keeps it fresh from relapse!!
"Rich people stuff dollars in their pockets while poor people lie in gutters....screw them I say.." Bono in 1987 "I was with Rubert Murdoch, having dinner in Bono's house on the French Riviera.." Jared Kushner 2022 Still a great piece of music though.
this is just wonderful. So nice to listen to such a great song. I was a teenager when I bought and listen to this "pirate" album. The with or without you version is also incredible with a tribute to Joy division with a "love with tear us apart" ending. They were really great!!!
God...I am awash in memories! I was at both the April & October Chicago shows of this tour - at the tender age of 18! Awesome song and will always be one of (if not my first) favorite song(s). Great upload! You have my genuine gratitude for bringing this memory to the mind.
I know it's probably late, but I actually have transferred it from a bootleg CD to my computer. If you want, I can upload it as a zip file for you, if that helps. This was the first U2 CD I ever heard, and it's still today by far the best live U2 concert I've EVER heard. The voice, the composition and the setlist is beyond fantastic. Although the CD only had some 10-12 songs from the entire setlist, it was amazing. 1. Where the streets have no name 2. I still haven't found what I'm looking for 3. The unforgettable fire 4. Running to stand still 5. Sunday Bloody Sunday 6. Bad 7. Pride 8. Mothers of the disappered 9. With or without you 10. Gloria
Frygok The Gok Awesome! I'll pass on the zip file, but thanks a million for the offer. When I get my own laptop back up and running, I may very well take you up on it! For now, the girlfriends mac is used for her work as well, so she might get a bit cranky about some U2 show taking up space! So many great live U2 performances through the years! What a band!
Amazing! I was there that day and the Bodeans were the opening act, incredible experience, it was worth the money I got robbed by the scalper. They are amazing.
Listening to Bad live is a spiritual experience.
Bad. The song I love most in my life.
+Allan Urbina - me too, my all time favorite.

Who is disliking this? 🤔 It's one of THE tracks of our time.

Absolutely love when the drums kick in. One of the many moments that make this song such a cathartic experience.
best version after Live Aid!
the best show on the Joshua Tree tour 1987.

It's my first time to hear this song. Awesome live performance! U2 style!

I was 15yrs old first time, I got to hear thisxx. Been loving U2 since xx.
I was there for both of their Chicago shows on this tour; April 29, then 6 months later on 10/29/87. Awesome memories.
magnifique, du grand u2, avec la voie de bono au top.
la grande époque !!!
u hit the nail on the head about u2 there, every human feels pain and times of terrible lows, u2 sing about human pain and suffering alot, maybe thats why they seem to connect to millions
Emotiva, brutal, desgarradora, entrañable, perfecta, etc, etc........ Belleza!!!
This is an incredible version of Bad :-)
Best song of U2!!
Check out East Rutherford 1985. Some 23 minutes with unique vocal improvisations, and the most powerful "Sympathy for the Devil" I've heard.

la intro de bono es escalofriante, la canción como siempre me sigue conmoviendo hasta las lágrimas

Used to have a bootleg cassette of this show! Sure wish I'd kept better track of it!
