Unfortunately that seems the way to go for the short game. Every good player was doing it I heard. But just right now the devs dropped an update with new physics (though experimental for the first month, have to toggle it on) that should solve this problem and should make your short game much more natural without using the power meter :)

Getting used to the attachment has been a challenge! I feel like I’m setting up the same way every time but it just comes down to practice it think!

You slide the power meter a lot. You find it better to control distance than using a faster or slower swing speed?
