I just got this game because of this video and I love it. Now I just have to convince my friends to get it this game would shine playing with someone else. Does give someone a false sense of skill. I know for a fact I’m not this good when I play in person it’s very generous with making contact with the ball and power even when power is turned down it’s too much sometimes.
@ @dunmer26. I also just got the game and my golf buddy moved away awhile ago and told him to get it. We played till very late last night and laughed the whole time playing. 36 holes and I definitely feel it! It’s a blast with a good friend.
Been playing Golf+ since they first started the full course update. This game is the reason why I got back into playing real golf after 8 years of not. Funny enough I stumbled upon all the home golf simulator stuff now and your channel and doing that now as well with the Garmin R10 lol...
That's awesome! That's really one of the main reasons I covered it in the channel. I feel like things like this help expose the great game of golf. Also it really is truly fascinating what they are doing with everything. For VR Golf, I'm impressed! The most interesting part I thought was the face control was very accurate.

Lots more courses to come out too. Really the online multiplayer makes this game even more fun if you get a chance to play with people.

Various green speeds and wind and free /paid course add ons ( including a new free release today of a links style course) best course so far is Kiawah Island. Plenty of upgrades coming.
Yeah I wanted to show it kind of "out of the box". That way people would understand what it is like for someone that has never used it. @@GolfSimulatorVideos face control is solid. Basically the weakness is you hit the ball pure every time- no fat or thin shots. Putting is incredible and i love that they are not planning on making Golf + 2, they are simply going to keep making this game better. I joined their Discord and they are great at listening to feedback etc. Love ur channel- got a Garmin R10 last month and I’m finally getting my setup up and running. As for u playing online u should ask one of the developers, they seem like good guys. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
with all that space you don't have to just stand in that same spot; you can draw a MUCH larger guardian and walk behind your ball and check you site lines just like you do in real life. I NEVER use that re center A button because I just setup to the ball exactly like I do in real life.
Great video! I was hoping you know you could walk around lol :) I love that aspect it. I feel it legit helps my ability to setup on my line correctly! Just wanting comment readers know you are not locked physically from moving around in VR in general as well.

Yeah it is very interesting. I like that it brings attention to golf to some that may have never played before. I had a surprising number of people keep asking so I wanted to show it. I think the main question is could VR GOLF ever replace a quality golf simulator, in my opinion I can't see how it possibly ever could. I mean it's virtual, it is not real golf LOL Wild stuff though! The face control was impressive!
I used to have a practice driver tha had all of that, it was weighted and there was something inside the club head that would simulate impact when swing was correct
Needs to be a golf simulator put out that can be played by people who are sitting and fairly stationary so disabled people can play. I have Golf 5 and there is no smooth turning and you can't walk to the green.

I think one thing that could be developed would be an add-on golf club handle with a device in it that would both “weigh it down” and also simulate the feel of the “click” you feel at ball impact in real golf. That’s one thing I find missing in VR golf…an accurate weight feel of the cub and the sensation you feel at impact.👍🏼
I've seen some people buy 2lb ankle weights you use for running and wrap them around the club. Seems like a simple and effective way to get the weight of the golf club feel.
So the funny part is the recording looks fast and jittery but inside the goggles it is not like that! Must be since "two" separate screens are being combined it speeds up movement some 🤷♂️. Thanks for watching
Would you say this would be useful for practice in terms of working on your swing even though you aren’t swinging an actual club or hitting a ball? Seems like this would be nicer than a full sim setup since it requires minimal space, comparatively.
I mean you are making the motion and have your hands set in the grip, so no kind of like a swing trainer, probably a each to their own situation though.
I play both and can say you cant really replace hitting an actual ball, but as a I high handicapper I can say it's not that forgiving or too game like, but I haven't even tried to setting yet which has no forgiveness from what I hear lol. You definitely get distance boosts if you want but can adjust that to your distances with the power meter if you want. I would say its great for swing FEEL. You do get rewarded for proper swing techniques! It's a top notch app for sure would highly recommend it!
Its not very accurate, it assumes everyone can strike the ball like a pro! I also dont get the appeal of 1992 graphics, it def needs more power to get up to normal golf game graphics. Even 2002 golden tee graphics are better.

Top golf does let you use club attachments but you have to go back into the settings for top golf specifically to select it. Great vid

I do not think this will ever measure up to hitting real golf balls, it is fun, but not real golf practice.

I couldn't find a way to walk down the course, only to teleport - isn't a nice walk outside part of the golfing experience?

Seems realistic, but is it true to practice? Eg - will it pick up lack of hip rotation, poor wrist hinge, lead foot / trail foot for example?
It's basically going to read what's going on with the club. I would say it's pretty fairly accurate based on what the path and the face are doing.
is there another simulator that does that?

170 ball speed ??? That would equate to pga speed. Does it amp up everything. ?
Check out my other videos using GCQuad my ball speed it 165-170. Top tour players are 190+.

Its 100 percent not real. I can par and birdie every hole and i could never do that IRL
