This is really interesting stuff. Additionally, given that English is NOT the first language of either of you (and given I cannot speak either of your languages) this is super impressive. You BOTH speak my “native” language far better than I do….. although I speak Australian, rather than English.
    I am super impressed.

    Hi Raisa,
    Great video!
I saw this published a few months ago, but wasn’t ready to go into it, as I mainly operate mobile and portable at times that suit me, so I am only watching it now…
    Wow it is brilliant!
I’m sort of stuck now on my DXCC, so I really want to purposely hunt certain DXCCs that I don’t have…
Over the next few weeks by using this predication tool, I will go QRV at the highest probability times and see if I can get a few more countries..
And of course I’ll record and publish my experience 😊.

Thanks for this explanation for using VOACAP. I just built a hamclock on a raspberry pi and it has a table for VOACAP DE-DX. I'm trying to understand how to use it. If you can do a video explaining some of the uses of hamclock because it is very versatile and also give a lot of sun spot and x-ray, solar wind and flux data but I have no idea how all of these things effect propagation. Would you consider a video on this?

@@outbacktraveller58 Awareness of exposure to its dangers is key I guess. One benefit I find is that I get "news" 3rd hand and always so late that its not reactionary anymore, so an event can develop and calm down. Also the facts tend to be more accurate over time, and then I can form a more informed opinion.
I listened to a psychologist a while ago discussing that people will make quick decisions/give quick answers when prompted and will nearly always stick with their initial answer, even if they know they're wrong. Frequently prioritising their ego over accuracy.
I think the speed and intensity of social media is making the problem worse. Mix this with the huge amount of disinformation available and its understandable how toxic and divisive social media can become.
I avoid it, but it changes society around us, so awareness is my only defence.
