I cook on an outlaw patio and I absolutely love it, extremely efficient! It's almost as easy as a pellet grill. Also handmade in USA
I'm hoping to purchase one soon. i live about an hour away from where they're made.
nothing beats that metal and that classic look :)
How much was that outlaw?? Yukes
@@mannyr8795 I paid 5300 about 2 years ago, retail now is 5500 with the stainless firebox cap and upgraded rod iron grates vs the expanded metal grates
@@davidblair4388 wow. I have heard they are top of the line though
i just got a workhorse 1975. thing is a BEAST
I am a pellet smoker guy still but loved the video. I bought a Yoder YS640S last year and it has been fun to use. Being a native Texan it is pretty sacred here. I have seen others using a mill scale and absolutely loving it. Screw the people that say it is too expensive. 1/4” steel and great build quality come at a price. Keep up the great content! #meatsweats #guccigrills
Strongly considering striking on one (but also keeping my YS640S)!
9:48 you can also use it for when you wana cook beef ribs, they benefit from hotter temps. All while cooking something else under with a lower temp (brisket)
I’ve been a big fan of pellet grills so I can’t wait to see how the Traeger does in that smoke-off. Great video as always Jeremy! #meatsweats #guccigrills
The offset will blow the pellet away. My 22” weber blows away my pellet grill. I use the pellet for cooing potatoes and poultry.
Lol a pellet grill is not even in the same galaxy as an offset, stop it
I’m so jealous….Good glass of bourbon, millscale rolling with a brisket on it. Life can’t get better than that.
It's sexy. Don't listen to any haters. I honestly have 6 grills in my backyard. A Weber kettle. A pellet from Broil King. And now. You are inspiring me to get a OFFSET. THANK YOU. CHEERS FROM BRANTFORD ONTARIO
I'm stoked for you. My early birthday present from the better half was an Oklahoma Joe Banderas smoker that I just finished seasoning and I'm just super hyped to get to work
Not many folks know this, but Sonny Moberg outside of Austin builds in limited quantities a Back yard smoker with the same quality as his BBQ joint 1000 gallon smokers (insulated Fire Boxes, with attached smoke stacks) I bought a 100 gallon two years ago, but now he's building 110 gallons now. Moberg smoker are found in all the big BBQ joints here in Texas. I agree Mills Scale are very nice, I have compared them, however Moberg beats most back yard rigs and he will ship. I was lucky I am located about 45 minutes from Mobergs shop, so I picked mine up. Again this is no dig on Mills Scale, they are very nice and I must say better than the Franklin pit.
What is his contact info?
I'm watching this with my 9yr old son and I have a shaved head with a healthy beard. He said " Dad time for you to get some tattoos like Jeremy". Well now its time, love your content and time to get some ink.
Super cool investment. I look forward to seeing more of you using this smoker.
How often did you have to tend to the fire on the Millscale? Could you do a fire management tutorial for this cooker?
Damn - Just bought a custom made 70 smoker for $800 from a guy off FB marketplace...about $225 for Uhaul and gas and a whole lots of sweat moving the thing into my backyard. I knew I got a steal but dang - $1500 for shipping really puts a explanation point on it.
Been eyeing this for months now. It’s the dream pit.
nice grill congrats love the video
The Squirrel at 17:20 was coming for your Ribs! This cooker will be my Christmas present to myself this year i cant wait to get one! Cheers
That’s the best smoker on the market. Hands freaking down. Beautiful smoker and quality built for sure. Congrats dood!
Smoker is legit! GReat looking beef ribs! Being a Texan, I may have to head over to Lockhart and get one! Thanks for the video!
I'm in San Antonio and I usually drive to Lockhart with family to eat BBQ! Today is the first time I hear about this company thanks to an Instagram ad. I was considering getting a Yoder Kingman, but I might get this bad boy instead. Support texas business and I could pick it up myself.
Congratulations ❤. Beautiful offset. Beef ribs look great. Cheers from Canada
Great video. Good content, good video editing. BBQ, smoke, cigars what's not to love. Cheers from BC Canada.
Love the new smoker. Who doesn’t love smokin some meat on a nice fall weekend, whiskey in hand and cigar on deck!!! Love the smoker content!!!! #meatsweats #guccigrills
Sweet grill! I'm an offset die hard offset fan thanks to grandpa who's been smoking for decades. Definitely the dream setup! #meatsweats #guccigrills
As someone on an all meat diet I loved loved loved how those ribs looked. Glad to see you uploading regularly again. Me and my girl love your content
#meatsweats #guccigrills
Great video for a great smoker, shipping company hit the wheel with a fork lift fork, you can see the fork mark on the pallet, divers had a bad night, Like the review very much, thanks ,,👍👍
I love watching your videos. You should include your kids along with the bicycle on the background it would be awesome.
You sail boating man congrats ! Mill Scale is a dream pit.
It is funny how much hobby's we share!
Offset smokers are great, used to have one.. did rust... so now I use the Weber GBS Mastertouch.. wich I really like!
#meatsweats #guccigrills
Should’ve went with the workhorse 1975! I have the 1975t and it was only $4500! Thicker steel and it’s on a trailer!
Welcome to the mill scale fam bro. It’s a blast using that thing. I’m all about the the #meatsweats because that smoker is #guccigrills
I have a Traeger pro 34, vertical smokey mountain Weber, and a bradley box or chest smoker. I think they all have there place. The Traeger is nice for the ease of use but doesn't seem to have as much of a smoke flavor as my Weber. I do use a smoke tube to help supplement it. My chest smoker is solid pretty easy to use but probably the least used. I like my weber SM it produces the most smoke out of my 3 smokers but it isn't the biggest. So each definitely have there pros and cons. I think this offset smoker will produce a more smokey flavor than the Traeger. But I do love my Traeger just very easy to use. My 15 year old boy has been helping me out and he will only use the Traeger
5000 may be steep compared to most grills, but if you spend your money on things you enjoy, it’s worth it. No different than spending 80,000 on a boat vs one for 1800. I look forward to the pellet smoker comparison.
#meatsweats #guccigrills
Would love to hear an update on your thoughts on the smoker. From experience, it takes time to dial-in your cooking technique on each smoker. Also, how’s it holding up in the FL salt air?? Much appreciated!!
Love it man!! It is by far the best smoker I have ever had. I was pretty use to offsets so this one was pretty easy to get dialed in. It is actually way easier to cook on than some of the other offsets I’ve had in the past due to the larger firebox, large smoke chamber and thicker materials. It just seems to hold temp easier than other offsets I’ve used. It’s pumps out some outstanding bbq if you’re willing to put in the time. As for how it had held up, it’s a tank!! The salty Florida air will cause some surface rust eventually. But I hit it with a scotch brite pad and reapply some boiled linseed oil to the outside about once a year and that seems to be keeping it in great shape. 😎👍🏻
Holy smokes! When I had my 2800 lb smoker delivered 3 years ago (850 miles), it was only $600.
Love the cooking episodes. please do more!
This video just popped up on my home page. and I just have to say what an epic beard!! Definitely subscribing, thanks for the video!
Hey my brother, good to see you back 🤜🏽🤛🏽
I used Pellet grills for a few years and it got me into BBQ, but try as I might I couldn't get that deep of smoke flavor out of the pellet smokers. I finally pulled the trigger on a Workhorse Pit and man has it made a pretty sizable difference in the quality of BBQ I'm putting out. I think Mill Scale is a great product as well. Will be subscribing!
Pellet grills, to me, are boring. I like having to dick around with the fire and what not. The "set and forget" aspect of a pellet grill would take the fun out of it for me.
@@Frozenwinter84 if you have multiple kids you wouldn’t feel that way
@@vinichi3014 nah, still boring. Useful perhaps, but still boring.
Just inaugurated my new smoker yesterday. Nothing close to that beast, but it did the job. 'Grats on the new bbq. #meatsweats #guccigrills
I have your first lighter and love it.
Very nice. I went with the Workhorse Pits because I’m stationed in GA, so I could pick it up and save on shipping. I also went with a TMG Fridge 48 for the same reason. The start date on the Workhorse is late October and Feb for the TMG.
Waiting on my new Workhorse 1975T. Also in Florida here. Mill Scale made the short list but went with the WH. Both seem to be great pits.
#Meatsweats #Guccigrills
Done with brazos and went with a fatstack. Great video here!
Thanks for telling us how much it cost to ship to Florida! I'm looking to purchase the 94 gallon, but need to also budget for shipping.
Congrats on the new pit
Never thought I would consider spending that much on a smoker. But you have changed my mind!
#meatsweats #guccigrills
I ended up getting the Timberline XL and the deciding factor was watching your video. I have not been disappointed at all. Wish I had room for an offset on the patio so I’ll just have to live vicariously through you. #meatsweats #guccigrills
Even as a dude living in an apartment I get great joy from these videos. #meatsweats #guccigrills
I don’t even own a smoker. Just watched for good ole Jeremy content. Keep killing it!#meatsweats #guccigrills
Oh hell yeah!! I love my custom Lone Star Grillz offset smoker. This Mill Scale is a BEAST and is amazing. Congrats on your new BBQ maker! #meatsweats #guccigrills
I'll say it for you. F the haters. Congrats on the nice smoker! #meatsweats #guccigrills
I feel your pain, grilling outside of winter months down here is like grilling in the devils a**hole. Enjoy the new offset- looks sick! #meatsweats #guccigrills
Digging the new smoker as well as the outdoor cooking setup. Looking forward to the comparison cook too! #meatsweats #guccigrills
Excited to see the offset vs pellet comparison! Difficult to find an unbiased opinion - most people just want to justify the money that they spent on whatever grill they have #meatsweats #guccigrills
I've always loved grilling, but watching your videos it is starting to become a passion. #meatsweats #guccigrills
Great vid and congrats on the new pit! The Traeger doesn't have a chance 😆 Enjoy! 🍻
I’m not gonna lie I popped wood looking at that smoker! The ribs at the end I would compare it to the soul snatching moment!! Epic! #meatsweats, #guccigrills!!
Your beard care video brought me here a few weeks ago. I’ve been binge watching since. Loving your content. That Mill Scale smoker is my dream setup. #meatsweats #guccigrills
I have been a Traeger guy for 10+ years and love it - but this grill is a beast! Can't wait to see your upcoming smoke-off videos...I have a feeling I see a new smoker in my future... #meatsweats #guccigrills
Stumbled across this video and your channel today. And even though I have a Workhorse offset I’d have to say this is a great video (it was a tough choice between the Workhorse 1975 and Mill Scale 94 for me). I’ve since fell down the rabbit hole of your channel and must compliment you: you make great videos. You are entertaining to listen to and the quality of the videos are top notch. Definitely worth the subscription. Best wishes.
Man I wish we had more access to grills like this in the UK!! Not like we ever have the weather for it.. but defeats the point.. Keep up the good work! Love the content Jeremy!
#meatsweats #guccigrills
I think it needs a thick grate for the firebox to keep the fire off the 1/4 steel
Oooohhhh yeahhh!! I can’t BBQ without my Buggasalt! On my second one now 😉😊👍👍
It’s like a summer Christmas dream! Little burnt ends dancing in my dreams! Looking good my man, enjoy!
#meatsweats #guccigrills
Jeremy, love your channel!
FL grilling season is Nov-Feb!
You might be able to add a month in front or onto the back, depending on your "Torture tolerance".
We "Escaped" from CA.
Are you an "Escapee" too?
I continue to live vicariously through you for smoking meats and rad smokers. I have been practicing on a little bullet one (think hibachi with a middle wall between it and the lid.) It's been a lot of fun, but I have to visit my folks when I do it. Darn apartment blues! #meatsweats #guccigrills
Ribs looked amazing bro. Great job
Great video! Great production! I have one of these and I love it
That grill is an absolute beast and those ribs...oh man!! Always look forward to your videos bro. Have a good week. #meatsweats #guccigrills
Been using my traeger pro 22 for a few years now and still going strong. No fancy tech in it but it does the job. #meatsweats #guccigrills
Awesome pit! I’m in Central Florida and based on the T-Rex that ran across your fence at 17:20 I’m going to guess your South of me!
I liked Mill Scale but went with Patriot Pits Freedom 94 offset.
Looks awesome I will keep my 600 Traeger# near sweats
First time watching your videos, dope new smoker my brotha! Mill Scale is pricey, but deff known for that top notch quality. I’m right north of ya in Jacksonville, FL. Looking forward to seeing what kinda bbq you push out of that beast.
Love sitting down and watching your videos with a cigar and a glass of bourbon. While I tone down for today keep it up for us floridans #meatsweats #guccigrills
Great video! Love this new smoker.
first time to the channel and I gotta say, liken it so far
It’s been years since I’ve used an offset smoker, might have to rethink that. Mill Scale is a beast!
#meatsweats #guccigrills
This man's the reason why I got into whiskey and cigars. Looks like a grill is coming next lol
#meatsweats #guccigrill
Smoked some beef plate ribs this weekend. Nothing beats the flavors you get from a good offset. #meatsweats #guccigrills
Congratulations bro “94 THE MiLL SCAL GriLL is mega beast! I Love It! The food looks amazing, I could water an entire field of crops with my mouth due to how much I’m salivating! Lol. I hope your family and you have lots of good memories made with that smoker! #meatsweats # Guccigrills
I just got my first smoker last week! First smoke was wings, I got work on getting them crispy though. That zippo would be awesome for lighting my Jeremy Siers cigars! #meatsweats #guccigrils #weareprivada
This is a work of art.
Looks nice, but for the price I would think a front shelf should be included. Also, it appeared that the fire was directly on the bottom of the firebox, some type of grate or raised fire platform would help with air movement and protect the bottom of the box. Overall it looks like a nice design….
just getting into smoke grilling just a BBQ thing here in OZ but loving it great vid as always looking forward to the match up #meatsweats #guccigrills
Hell yeah new smoker!
Thanks for the unboxing show. I have something new to think about for my own backyard kitchen.
#meatsweats #guccigrills
Was just looking at the mill scales couple days ago and if i had one you would prolly never see me in a kitchen again lol.for some reason i always thought you were in TX as i was and have been in Jacksonville for about 6 months,Always loved St Augustine and need to get over there to chill and burn me one (:
There's a lot of work that goes into that smoker! Well worth the cost! Looking forward to seeing what comes off it along with the comparison between the Traeger. #meatsweats #guccigrills
That is a beast of a grill. excited to see the traeger vs. mills smokedown! #meatsweats #guccigrills
You’re f-ing killing me bro! I bought the Timberline XL and now, because you have one, I’ll be ordering a MillScale 94… God love you!!! Love the channel, addicted!!! #meatsweats #guccigrills
Never been a big fan of pellet grills so it's nice to see a stick burner. Also I miss the cigar reviews! #meatsweats #guccigrills
killing the videos as always! Excited for more videos on the grill. #meatsweats #guccigrills
Great video man! Mill scales was my first choice but ended up with workhorse pits 1975 because it was cheaper for me. Overall they are both great pit burners.
Currently watching the video while I wait for a brisket to finish for the college games today and not gonna lie very jealous of the millscale and taeger both!
#meatsweats #guccigrills
Enjoyed the smoker unboxing! Just finished rebuilding my own Vermont Castings grill that I bought back in 2000. Hoping to get another 20 years out of it. #meatsweats #guccigrills
Always love the grill content. I have been following the channel for about 6 months and the videos never disappoint! Thanks for making badass content.
#meatsweats #guccigrills
How often do you need to spray down the outside and inside of the smoker? What do you find works the best?
Will there be restocks of the sip and smoke ashtray? I cant stand the thought of not getting one of these!
That grill is slick man! Always love the stuff you do man! #meatsweats #guccigrills
