nice preparation, i enjoy this style of biryani rather than the "faster" stir-fry style in many takeaways, because i think biryani ought to have some char around the edges on the filling. it's also nice made a similar way in smaller pots, i think sometimes it is done that way in a tandoor, too, adding even more smokey flavour.
Bro there are veg & non veg interpretations and preparations of almost every dish, it's not about what you do personally, it's about what other people do differently. Maybe you'd like it if you open your horizons more.
