Thanks for sharing a few of the many rooms for 2023's KBSH. As a volunteer for over 40 years of this event, it was great to spend hours in the rooms each spring-the real, 3D situation is such a kick in the head. Like 'em or not, no expense is spared to interpret what to do with those 4 walls, floor, ceiling, doors and windows, in case you were looking for inspiration or a great mind to help realize your spaces! More, please. (event over now, I know)
I love the foyer …and powder room spaces. Very elegant . All the other rooms were taasteful …bar the master bedroom which was plain ridiculous. If I hired an interior decorator to redo my master bedroom and the produced this…I’d sue them
funnily enough the bedroom is the reason i first clicked on this video. i find it a masterpiece of an interpretation of its style, although i dont tend to like anything whimsical or very feminine, fantasy, playful, this is the one thing ive seen that actually feels like an artpiece that can hold up to high end interior design. contrary to most, the drawing room is the one i like the least. it feels cluttered, i dont see how the lighting from the windows was taken into account, the room ends up with a dark and heavy feel, almost like a dusty attic with random objects. the design itself is beautiful for sure, just that the lighting is not enough to light up the space, which is why it looks better on pictures that notched up the exposure. the room itself feels too small for everything thats going on and everything being so close in the color palette and giving no contrast makes it feel washed out and cramped. only goes to show that tastes are very different.
Something’s are nice like the entry and kitchen, but others are like they showed up as contestant’s to a design reality tv show. I relate theirs rooms to the child story of “ The emperors new clothes”. Sorry but they need to go back to design school! Worst Show House Ever!!!! 🤢🤮

The den and entryway are so well designed. Loved them.
I agree, both were beautifully detailed and both styles seamlessly meshed with each other even they they were so different.
That bedroom looks like a 13 year old went wild designing it.

HALDEN INTERIORS did such an amazing job on the "Heart of the Vine" den. Also it is not Halded, but HALDEN - people might want to work with her.
