Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell’s Charleston House style and art is my vibe. Tess Newell is one of my favorite artist. The fireplace in Kit Kemps room is perfect. Full of color and textiles.
With all these onterior videos, which are very interesting, and, many times inspring - it really is unfathomable that many people have that much money to furnish their whole homes with so much expensive objects, furniture, window treatments, wall fabric/ paper, expensive paints..... !!! I don't get angry or jealous - i just can't imagine!!! 😮 What fun it would be to choose whatever you wanted! ❤
Since none of you know who Kit Kemp is, you won't know that this interior design is her signature style for all of her hotels and her design style superseded the maximalist/wallpaper/pattern/print conglomeration trend by at least 15 years and she supports unknown, known and emerging artists who's artworks are showcased in all of her hotels. It takes a masterful eye to union all these elements to create a harmonious use of space. She didn't just jump on the bandwagon and if you actually listened to what she said, her inspiration was drawn from the aesthetic of the English countryside. Let me guess, 8 years ago, many of you were cooing over rectangular block furniture, round mirrors and blue gray painted walls and West Elm furniture and now you're running yourself ragged to collect brown wood furniture. Know your station, it's where you belong.
That English fireplace looks more Roman. I love colour but first room is a little over the other top even for me. If I was forced to choose I’d say the club room. Shawn Henderson was a definite no.
IMO this is not a good year for Kips Bay. So much not to like. Kit Kemp's dining room was horrendous! .... a conglomerated mess. On the upside: Amen & Meeks' Living Room the least bad of the bunch.
The first one is clearly the most beautiful, but it's a bad idea to mix all of those different styles in one house, they clash with each other horribly
Love Kit Kemp’s dining room ! I’m tired of colorless generic design.

The bedroom. Yes please.
OMG! I wanted to watch but couldn't get past the horrendous dining room 😮
"If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing".. Nothing!😊

Was the lady ok? She sounded like she was crying
An unfortunate choice of spokesperson for their brand.
More with the over-the-top maximalism. 🙄 That dining room just makes my eyes hurt.
Time for Kit Kemp to try solid beige for a change.
@@RichardBarnett-hs1qy I agree, it couldn't hurt ..

Interesting design perspectives, but Zero human diversity here
I agree. Where are the tranny black dwarves?
