My favorite part is you finding your long lost twin sister and nephew and how happy you two were to resonate so well. The second favored part is the woman that said she was inspired by you to become a designer. I can relate with her because I feel inspired in the same way she felt about watching you making a living out of this now. I've spent the last year designing my humble apartment, after not having a home since COVID, and it's nowhere near like these but absorbing your content is turning me into an aspiring designer myself, and has helped me make much more of this place than I would have dreamed possible. Glory to God, thank you. I'm contact happy off of this video 😂😘
What a great comment Neici… as I read your comment, I couldn’t help but relate and appreciate what you said. To me… the two designers you pointed out were indeed, my favorite experiences. I’m delighted to hear you are making strides in your own home. I’m happy for you my friend. Best wishes to you as you achieve your goals. I’d love to see photos of what you’ve done. Bottom line… I’m incredibly proud of you and humbled to be a part of your journey 😘 RR
@@rebeccarobeson1 Aww I'm happy to be at some point but there are some eyesores 🤢 I have to deal with before I its camera ready to me; A creativity space I'm trying to create that has run me into a clutter/organization problem; default window treatments I HATE (old, plastic, mismatched, vertical blinds on large door sized windows on high ceiling walls that face the lovely view of a parking garage); an upsidedown boob light in my kitchen/living/entryway that is trying to "function" as lighting for all of it by sitting in the most awkward position), that kind of stuff that kinda ruins pics of what I've done now that I've learned those no no's 😂 It's a pro-c-g-ress

I LOVE seeing Tulsa being “showcased” here and in the design realm. This City has some of the most breathtaking architecture and grand homes around. What a treat you’ve delivered to us.
Thank you Jason. I agree, Tulsa is a hidden treasure. It’s super fun for me to drive around and gaze at homes that take my breath away. I had no idea when I moved here … how much I would love it. Agreed… the architecture, the history and the level of taste in this city is extraordinary. It has definitely exceeded my expectations! Thanks for taking the time to comment Jason. Always love to hear from you 😘 RR
@@rebeccarobeson1I’ve always loved going to Tulsa’s Designer Showcase homes! So many amazing rooms and so much inspiration. As a native Tulsan, I thoroughly enjoyed this video..thank you Rebecca 😊
This is the first designer showcase I have ever seen that is cohesive from room to room, no outrageous over the top mish mash. I love it. I bet the homeowner does too. From beginning to end, I was thinking, this is my favorite room, this is my favorite room, this is my favorite room.
Beautifully done , very livable! I love that ‘Gunta’ was able to meet her inspiration Muse and everyone can see that Rebecca and Susan are twin flames ! Love the bathroom and circle room and master.
This was GRRREAT! Loved the joy and laughter between you and the young woman who was fangirling after you! Also with Mrs. Perez (and her son) and the instantaneous comradery between y'all! BOTH of their designs/paintings are stunning. Thanks for bringing sooo much joy to me as I viewed this episode!!!
Rebecca, this was such a fun video! Kudos to you for sharing and introducing us to such talented designers. It was so special to see your legacy in a designer who began because of your influence.
So many great designers and their designs. Love the headboard, and the grass cloth on foam core board. I have some peel'n stick grass cloth to put on foam core for the back of a huge book case. Thank you for the great ideas!
OMG this was so fun! This house is gorgeous! I love the log headboard in that room - so creative! The entrance with those arches - oh my! And that powder room - - those floors! All of the rooms had spectacular features but these really stood out to me. Thanks for sharing.
That bedroom / oval sitting room was my absolute favorite!!! It was spiritually cosseted by the artful but powerful portrayal of the horse and the crow along side the architecturally sculpted but exquisitely rendered functional aspect pieces we all need and define the room itself! It’s not just a room, it’s an experience…well done Gunta Sandmeyer! Well done Rebecca! I am not surprised at all that you were the inspiration for Gunta to embark on a design career!
I loved everything , the Artwork is fantastic , that last room with the perfected Wall of semitry and the headboard that was made from the wood was well Thought Out.
Thanks Rebecca! I enjoyed meeting all the designers, hearing their stories, and seeing their fabulous work. I particularly enjoyed listening to Susan and Ryan. I see a trip to Santa Fe and a collaboration with her in your future. Susan's bedroom design was my favorite. Stunning! I'd love to know the manufacturer of the beautiful area rug under the bed. It's just what I'm looking for but can't find.
Love that house. All the rooms were gorgeous. The stone and design in the entrance is absolutely my favorite. The Designer used all my favorite colors. I have seen walls done like the headboard, but not a headboard. Great idea as I love anything wood.
Hi, Rebecca, my favorite part was the way you presented all the well designed rooms in the Mid-century house. I absolutely love how the designers transformed the heavy brown custom- made built-ins bookcases into beautiful and interesting pieces. My favorite room was the last one including the bathroom. I think you should visit Santa Fe and have fun with your new friend.
Thanks Patti, Seriously, I felt a connection with Susan from the start. Add to that, her talented son. Good Lord, if I had a son with a truck… a trailer, and a chain saw 🤷🏻♀️ the sky would be the stinkin limit 💁🏼♀️ RR
Thank you Rebecca, for showing us the real houses and places! You are truly the best and my inspiration! Ive been watching you probably for 10 years, and counting ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this video. There were so many favorites! Love the accessories, the art pieces, rugs and the balance in each of the rooms. It was heartwarming to hear the designer say that YOU were her inspiration! Thank you for sharing your gifting Rebecca!
I love all of your videos--even your design style ones, although they haven't been as successful as you may have hoped--but I have to say this is my favorite one in a long time. I love the length of the video and seeing the talents of multiple designers in one place. Although all of the rooms are so different, they are all so amazing in different ways. Your commentary is also spot-on. Thank you for this!
Wow.... I can't pick a favourite design as the whole house is totally fabulous, but, the two endings of the video is my favourite part.... hilarious and laughing out loud. PS I shared this video to my Mum earlier this morning and when she rang me mid morning mentioned how much she loved the decor but she can't understand why people have such huge home's.....if only, I say..... thankyou for sharing another exceptionally enjoyable video x 💜💖🌺🌷🌸🙏😇🐑🕊️
Great video! Amazing learning experience about MCM design. One of the highlights was the designer you inspired to build a career out of something she loves. Also, your interaction with Susan and her son was awesome. Rebecca, I would love to watch a video of you visiting Santa Fé to showcase Native American pottery, vintage rugs and Southwest style related design decor.
The round dining room is gorg. The curtain matching the focal point. The matte finished pottery and the round table and rug is priceless. Just heavenly. Absolutely well done!
I agree with Gunta; I have been watching Rebecca almost from the very beginning and her taste level and techniques are absolutely inspirational and aspirational. I'm an apartment dweller (gorgeous luxury apartment!) and have been able to apply so many of her ideas to my own style.
Always love looking at model and design homes. So kind of you introducing other designers as it demonstrates your strong confidence. What a great example to us all. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this designer showcase home but the best part was your interview with Susan. She was so down-to-earth and had many good ideas for that massive bedroom. 👍to Susan👍
I LOVED this episode! And I LOVED everything and each one! I don't have a favorite, because I took something away from each! MOST of ALL it was a FUN and lighthearted segment! Thank you everyone!!🫡👌🏾😊🤗👏🏾
Thank you Rebecca for once again bringing us along to see design and learn from you. I loved the dining room but oh my what a beautiful master suite. The symmetry wall with the beautiful horse painting was amazing! Loved the way the shiplap was hung vertically in the bathroom and was surprised how the designer brought an outdated parquet floor back to life. Love you Rebecca and look forward to "our" next design outing. ❤
You must go to Santa Fe and take in all of the architecture and the special culture! It is one of my favorite places to visit. Of course I’m hoping you will share your experience 😊
You had me at the all the amazing horse paintings. Royce Myers is an incredible artist. I want one of his masterpieces. I think the home was a beautiful example of different styles coming together in a stylish and cohesive way. There was even a touch of Sante Fe southwestern in the master with the ladder and basket on that gorgeous wall. I love everything. Thanks for sharing that home with us.
Hey there Meg… always great to hear from you. The horse paintings from Royce Meyer were the paintings I first showed you. I have one in my own home and one in the cliff house. I’d love for you to own one in one of your homes in the future. I promise you, a Richardson painting will draw you in like nothing else. Her paintings are impressionistic… with enough realism to allow your mind to enjoy the sentiment without the reality. Hope you are doing well my friend. Still wearing my diamond bracelet… everyday 😘 RR
What Gunta did with the wallpaper, which was not wide enough, was no less than brilliant! It looks totally planned and perfect! Well done! Plus, she is a fan of Rebecca’s and became a designer because of her! Amazing!! I love her entire design.
LOVED LOVED LOVED this video. Please film more of these. North Guest Bedroom by Gunta Sandmeyer & Primary Bedroom by Susan Eddings Perez were standouts for me. Clever designers!!! RR you are an inspiration. Been watching you for years. I am a PK as well.
Love love love this house. Mid century has always been my favorite playground ❤ Thank you for the show and tell 🥰 what an amazing job! Those designers have truly delivered. Happy you met someone who connects with your almost everything 😊 you guys should be named THE magnificent pair.
I hope you plan a trip to Santa Fe soon. Obviously you and Susan clicked and that was the most fun part of the video. You two got lost in conversation and it was so fun to watch. Mid century Morten is maybe my least favorite style but the designers did a fabulous job with what they had to work with. The art throughout the house really did it for me. And I have to agree with you the dining room was my favorite room too.
This was so much fun! I'd go to show homes every day if I could manage it. The thing about show houses is that designers do have to pull off some magic tricks due to space or financial constraints. I love getting a peek behind the curtain on how things are done. Well done, all! Oh, and if Susan Eddings Perez ever wants to get rid of that gorgeous green stone and silver ring, she can give me a call. :) It's fabulous!
I guess that for me the wow moment was the master bedroom. I also loved how you clicked with the designer and her son. You have similar 'let's do it' vibe.
That is a cool giant house with some big challenges! Definitely my favorite rooms were the primary bedroom and the guest room with the round sofa. Can't wait to see the project you were talking about at the end of the video!
Omg absolutely loved this video. The house was beautiful and your Interviews were so fun I was smiling at the tv,lol. "Waiting for it" lol always leave them wanting more!
Thank you Rebecca for bringing us this video, this was so interesting! I really liked the great room as well as the dining room but the primary bedroom is just stunning. That design is so well curated, I would love to see more of the work of Susan Perez in your future videos, maybe it would be an idea? Thank you for what you share with us, your content is truly unique on TH-cam.
Dr. Robeson, Professor of Interior Design!!! just sayin... Every time I watch Your channel it is so informative..very well illustrated ....I just love how you navigate through a room and explain the concept of what we are seeing . Thank you...

Great vlog Rebecca. I loved the dining room and also the snug/ office. Hats off to all the talented designers who showcased their creative visions. I never thought of layering rugs but I like the look.
Rebecca once asked YEARS ago on one of her videos... should they be longer.. let me know in the comments section!?!? I now see a longer video. Yaaaaassss! Dream come true. 😊
Awww @cutiesue5483 and @user-wu7bk4dz8k… (good lord @user…….. that was a mouthful… your YT handle I mean) anyway, thanks guys for asking about the styles series. As @user…. mentioned, the series did not perform as well as I had hoped… however, we do have a few episodes already filmed which we plan to insert in the weeks to come. So… my friends, stay tuned … you never know what the next video will be… it’s like a box of chocolates … 😘 RR
This is by far my favorite video of yours! I particularly liked your time talking with the individual and extremely talented designers and their approach to the MCM house. I’ve got to say -IMO- that the dark stone work is atrocious because it looks like a manufactured product. Nevertheless, these designers “worked around it” PERFECTLY!
Showcase houses are so much fun! This one wasn’t my style but I always enjoy seeing what designers create. Yes Rebecca you need a truck! I can just picture you tooling around in a little red pick up! 🥰
I loved this video so much and the excitement you exude with each of the featured designers. Loved the last two rooms so much. The talent is outstanding. Cheers. Still hoping to meet you sometime as I have been following you for about 5 years now. Cheers
Hi Francine, here’s how I approached this concept of filming the showcase house. I toured ever room of course, I then chose the rooms that best resonated with my own professional approach to design. Those were the rooms I decided to include in the video. Personally, I felt like the designer interviews were the most compelling and interesting as I can sooo relate to the challenges a professional designer faces. I hope that conveyed in the video. As it was… with the 7 rooms I selected created a nearly 40 minute video. * in TV time… that would have been an hour long show (with commercials) Trust me… you saw the best of the best… hope you enjoyed it 🙌🏻 RR
I went to this Designer Showcase and Rebecca did choose the most stunning rooms. The kitchen was my least favorite area. I did not think the kitchen area was showcased the best and was my least favorite room.
I loved all the rooms! I would love to see more vids of you and the last designer! You too make such a good duo!!! Would love to seee a collab or just move vids in general! You seemed to have found your long lost twin😂
Yes, The bedroom and that huge horse painting, the white couches, white bed, I am a "white" decor person, never get tired of white, accents in brown velvet and creams ( I know, safe but to me very restful ).love it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rebecca, exceptional video thank you for sharing. My favorite room was difficult to chose from the entire home however, it was the Susan Edings Perez it is magnificent.
I think the design of the master bedroom is fabulous. The designer made that huge room with a dominant stone fireplace and parquet flooring look stylish, curated and comfortable. I don’t think that was an easy thing to do. The powder room was very striking. My other favourite room. I like the placement of the grand piano in the dining room so it was part of ‘life’ rather than pushed to one side all on its own.
This video is just awesome because there were lots of new ideas that i could incorporate in my own home. Thanks Rebecca, you`re blog is always such a great inspiration 👌

Hi Rebecca - Thank you very much for the tour of this home. Really amazing decor and it was nice to hear what the designers had to say. I hope you'll do more like this.
So… my friends, stay tuned … you never know what the next video will be… it’s like a box of chocolates …
😘 RR
SUCH a FUN VIDEO!!! Will watch again...and AGAIN!
( LOVED the all the varied & interesting ART too!!!)
Cheers
"Burn it!" 😂
❤❤❤
Such a beautiful home and fabulous work by the designers👏👏👏
Home builders showcase house. YEAH. Loving the Collborations .
Would have loved to see the kitchen. The dining room was my favorite
* in TV time… that would have been an hour long show (with commercials)
Trust me… you saw the best of the best… hope you enjoyed it 🙌🏻 RR
I went to this Designer Showcase and Rebecca did choose the most stunning rooms. The kitchen was my least favorite area. I did not think the kitchen area was showcased the best and was my least favorite room.
This was a great idea for a video and turned out well. What I got from it was that some times the "mistakes" and their fixes make the best part.
Wow. We had a chair like that in our living room when I was a child. It was red, very nice entry way.
The shape of the metal of the dining table light matches the carved wood shape u can see throughout the house. Very awesome
We have a designer showcase house twice annually in Atlanta. I never to miss a tour! I’ve been doing the tour since I was a teenager with my Mom!
This video is just awesome because there were lots of new ideas that i could incorporate in my own home. Thanks Rebecca, you`re blog is always such a great inspiration 👌
Finally i am a member of the design sessions! Yes! ❤
As a resiratory therapist, and a fan of your decorating, I love your consideration of decorating to accommodate a CPAP machine!
Hello 😊 I've been following you for about 5+ years now. It all started with your Christmas decorating videos. And might I add I'm a bit of a pro now thanks to you. I enjoyed this design video and wanted to let you know you are looking MARVELOUS girl!!! 😉❤💛💚 Always looking forward to your great ideas
The North guest bedroom was my favorite. I was quite impressed with the primary bedroom as well.
I could see why u love these design... symmetry 😊
I'm still watching you on my big screen TV but I have to come comment on my phone. I freaking love the part where you and Gunta shared the moment! I freaking love life and I love inspiration. You inspire me so much. I wish it was a place to insert pictures like Facebook so I could show you my living and dining room
Hi Rebecca - Thank you very much for the tour of this home. Really amazing decor and it was nice to hear what the designers had to say. I hope you'll do more like this. (However, I would politely suggest that you wear a tank top under that pretty black top, or close up the v-neck a bit..It's a bit too revealing when you stand or sit sideways..😯)! Big hug to you!!
This was an amazing episode. i loved hearing about the designer's process. So much fun!
Great show. My favorite part in the home was the bathroom. So zen
Loved, loved this tour. You must visit Santa Fe, Rebecca.
I love stone and out door elements bought to the inside of a home!
