Is it 80+ Gold like on a box, or 80+ Titanium like in a voiceover in 1:25 ?! I understand it performs over its rating in your testing but i have no idea if you mean that, or is it just a mistake in VO.
Hi kwiatu67, good catch! While the website and packaging advertise an 80PLUS Gold rating, it has actually achieved an 80PLUS Platinum rating during testing by CLEAResult for their 80PLUS program. You can find the test reports for all of the CLEAResult 80PLUS tested power supplies on their website or follow the link on the LTT Labs product page. -Lucas
Because the low performance of these videos does not justify paying a human a reasonable wage to read a script and edit the audio or video to match. The standardized script, filming, testing, and editing has all been optimized and automated as much as possible. Even with these optimizations, these videos are likely losing money due to the costs of testing the PSUs so thoroughly. That’s why they’re using an AI script. You may ask, “why not just make an article about it?” And they already have! But ad revenue is so poor on written sites that it has 0% chance of being organically discovered or profitable. These videos offer an alternative format that takes advantage of TH-cam’s Adsense and algorithm that at least has a chance of being more than a reference. It also allows for people that do not want to read an article to still get great information about PSUs
WARNING: Their support doesn't reply (it's been one month for me), and the 650W version (which I purchased) doesn't have a 12V-2x6 power connector, even though it's ATX 3.1 (every source says it's part of the specs - it that correct?) and their own press release mentioned that the Vita GM series (implies the entire series) has one... "Compliant with the Intel power supply design guide ATX version 3.1, following the latest regulations and PCIe Gen 5.1 standards with native 12V-2x6 connector, VITA GM PSU are equipped to handle maximum total power excursions, solidifying their position as a future-proof solution for power supply needs". Which is false.
FSP's website has a clear list of cables included with the VITA GM 650W, there is no 12V-2x6 or 12VHPWR cables included. Use of an adapter would be required.🤷♂
@@andrewzravenz2444 The product page of the Vita GM 650 is not mitaken in terms of included cables & connectors. However, the press release stating the series has them is misleading (as the 650W doesn't), and I thought it was mandatory for a PSU to be ATX3.1-compliant, which the 650W version is also supposed to be.
@@crowcoreTechnically the PSU itself IS compliant, even without including said cable. I haven't looked at their marketing materials myself so I can't say if it's truly misleading, but I certainly would also have expected it to come with the cable.
Just to let you know, actually ATX V3.1 specs doesn't require a PSU to have the 12V-2x6 connector. You can use the 6+2 pin to 12V adaptor included from the GPU. And if a PSU does include them, it doesn't have to be native 12V-2x6 to 12V-2x6 between them and the GPU, so they could stick with old 8 pin to 12V-2x6 (Corsair is one of the PSU that prefers to do this). Even then, on a lower wattage PSU, Intel does not recommend the 12V-2x6 cables to deliver full 600w power, although many PSU ignores this and went full power anyway. What mainly makes PSU ATX V3.1 compliant is whether they could withstand power excursion for twice its rated power on a short time. These power excursion was quite prevalent during 30 series GPU and often triggers their protection (basically makes a PSU turn off randomly). There are other quality of life improvement with the new standard but I'd suggest you to read articles written by Aris from Hardware Busters that explains the full detail regarding this.

Please test PSUs from less known brands aswell, like xigmatek or green.
It's basically alternating between well-known and unknown brands.
@@Ceelvain That's great! I really enjoy these videos.
