Draining Flooded Road By Unclogging Plugged Pipe. Drained So Fast

  • I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Also what if you got a gauge to measure how many inches / CM you drain a clog?
Could just be a pole with a slider on it?
If you sent me the diameter of the pipes you unclogged I could do the math to get the actual pressures, forces, flow rates, etc. we could just make an excel sheet that plugs and chugs?

This was the easiest and most 'Wow!' uncloggings that I've seen so far! Regarding mosquitoes - be careful. Here in mid-west Michigan we now have the Asian (aka Tiger) Mosquito from Asia - they came over in shipments of bamboo plants. I found out when a friend and I went out for supper; she had a large welt (didn't look like a mosquito bite) about the size of a quarter on her arm just above her wrist. By the time we were done eating, it had gotten at least twice as big and it was starting to hurt going down towards the wrist. After dropping me off, she went to the ER where they told her about the new mosquito (looks like a regular one but it has white stripes on it) and she had to get antibiotics and some sort of stuff to wipe on the spots (she found more bites on herself - after supper they started to show up more). Guess she's allergic to them - no problem with the regular kind. Don't know if mosquito spray will keep them away or not. // My thought was the vibration of the bungee cord - either the motion of the vehicle or the wind hitting the cords.

The first thing I noticed was your vehicle hood was a different color, black instead of red. I hope you like this one and it’s good to you. I hope you get that noise taken care of and it doesn’t have anything to do with the tire you just changed. 😬

I only drove a red truck once and I borrowed that while my car was in the shop

My friend was up in northern Maine a couple months ago on the logging roads and got two flats. His were from studs that came off a snowmobile track and punctured his tires. He only had one spare. It was a bad day for him....

I love these ones , find the culvert where ever it is and just like that bites and rapid flow restored and a walk in the wood. So amazing just to see what your actions do with a big drop in water levels.
    Respect Post

Hi Postie that was so cool when that clog let go. You may want to try getting the mosquito outfit you could use just the part top part it would help a lot for places like this. Good luck stay safe.
