- Well, I got my shipment from Hobby Nut Models, but UPS beat up on it a little bit. Let's see what happened. I didn't look closely enough at it in this video and really only thought the body was damaged, but the door panels and chassis were damaged as well. Photos at the end of that.

I’m waiting on my LHS to get one, and I’m leaning toward a Grabber Lime from our buddy at ScaleFinishes
I finally bit the bullet and ordered some MCW Enamel paints for my boss 351's. Grabber lime and Calypso Coral. First time spraying enamels, ive used lacquers pretty much exclusively.
Grabber Blue with silver stripes was an option on this body, but I'm not sure it was '71.
That kit survived a lot better than I thought it would, hopefully you can get a replacement body. Looking forward to the builds!
That's unfortunate about the wrecked body,but that's pretty cool the paint thrown in for free,for color i'm for painting/building one in every color they came in.
That sucks but kit in general looks nice, I’ve seen a few unboxings and need to grab a few myself 🤙🏼
Ups is catching up to the P.O. on how bad to be at shipping. Glad it appears to be in good shape and that the paint bottles weren’t broken. Not going to say what happened with my package from sprue brothers, and the P.O. wonders why they are broke every year .
I first heard Revell was working on this kit from you and immediately got super excited! My first car was a 71 Mach 1 with a 351C 4V and and 4 speed in Grabber Yellow. So I will build this kit as a Mach 1 first and then as a Boss 351. I will also be borrowing the engine and a few other pieces from the Revell reissue 70 Torino Cobra to turn one of these kits into a 429 SCJ Mach 1. Oh, and one will be built as a 72 Sprint which celebrated the 72 Olympics (the White with blue stripes and red pin stripe) Sportroof. Looks like I'll need a dozen or so kits! 🤣
Unable to Properly Ship strikes again. I hate UPS with a violent passion that rivals the burning sun. One of their drivers once lifted a box with $2000 of computer parts over his head in the truck, and threw it into the middle of my yard in the rain because he didn't want to get out of his truck. When I opened the door an yelled "what the f@#$" at him he flipped me off and drove off. Called UPS and their response was "our driver wouldn't do that." Now I'll pay more if I have to to ship with any other option.

I actually built that MPC Boss 351 a few years ago, and the chassis is too short in length for the body.
Oh no, I had that happen with the 69 Boss 302 kit. I also just got the 71 from Hobby Nut Models and it is awesome. I too have to decide what colors I want. Can't wait to see you build this one
Looks like the mail man has been playing soccer with it during his lunch break, hopefully revell will replace it..
Had the exact same thing happen to me here in the UK, Royal Mail left it in their sorting office for almost a week then left it on my driveway this morning.
Also just noticed that mine being the European release I have a more comprehensive decal sheet with European licence plates for eight different countries and a few more window stickers, as well as Illinois plates. Same stripes but in different positions on the sheet.
mine was shipped July 13th and I still have not received it (the USPS has it ) … fingers crossed it shows up soon and it is not damaged :-)
Don't feel bad I got a 73 Petty Charger shipped in a bag it was really jacked up.

I have the same issues in Canada with shipping sometimes. But most of the time they are pretty good. I just got in the 70 Buick GSX and the 68 Dodge Coronet unscathed. I am waiting for this kit here in my country to hit the shelves. I think the blue with silver stripes would look sharp. That is most likely what I would do mine in as well.
Well that sucks! I guess if Revell hadn't made such a well detailed model with all that plastic in the box, maybe the body would have survived the impromptu USPS football game. You could make a model of the "real" Eleanor after the iconic car chase. Although, I think it is a 73, it would be close enough.
