Shake is possibly my favorite cartoon personality type. another character very similar to Shake, is Rigby from Regular Show. i wouldn't label him a super hater or whatever we're talking about, but he is kind of a kid-friendly, toned down, version of shake. not a version of, per say, but many of Rigby's lines i could absolutely hear coming from Shake. they're like these hyper-defensive super-confident self-important highly-fragile utterly-incompetent narcissists. Rigby grows some over time though iirc. another good one is Scratch from The Ghost & Molly McGee, also played by Dana Snyder. (he's also a character who grows over the course of the series). early Eric Cartman also sometimes came off as this; before he actually became competent at doing things and getting back at people. the character type actually needs to be a loser to be enjoyed. if they end up on top, they become less likable through this lens. Rigby, Shake, and Scratch are all losers, and therefore likable; as laughable clowns. (not negging Eric's development, just saying he fell out of this specific group. but also i absolutely love the early cartman that would always hit things with sticks.)
