- been very on and off with this project for the last 6 months college has been taking a huge priority so I'm glad that i finally had the time after finishing the semester to finally get this project done lol
did not think a video about aqua teen hunger force would be this long or take this long but here it is lol my longest project to date

A couple hours later someone contacts me and they say "Yes Jesus is saying yes he is your buddy" another time was I obsessing a little over this blue suit and someone prophecies "I see you in this blue suit" etc, another time I was testing this whole thing and I'm about to be prophecied over and I have my Google notes out I had tried writing out a little story and it was about a fire and forest being burnt down and I ask God to confirm if he wants me to write this and sort of as a test because everything had been scary accurate and the person right after says "God wants you to be his little stick lit ablaze with his love, it may not seem like much but one small flame can burn down a whole forest" 😂 another one was I had this. Surreal vision looking at stars, shortly after someone messages me saying Jesus is looking at a telescope with you saying to you "everything I have is yours even the stars" another one I was in the bathroom asking God for a message for my friend Moses in Nigeria and as I'm leaving the bathroom i freeze in place and go into this bizarre trance like Peter in the book of acts and I see my friend Moses as a child playing with a toy firetruck and Jesus sitting next to him with love, I quickly tell them and they are in shock as they had just thrown away that toy that same day, another time I had gotten a word from God about someone close to me who hadn't accepted Jesus and that they had been praying to God secretly, I told them that and the look on their face was priceless as I had no idea they had been praying to God at all, they were shook 😄 this is only a handful of many a 100 times in just the last 12 months after 5 years of me being born again, there's so many more amazing things that have happened but you are beautiful and desired of God, he is a gentleman and will not force you to choose him or love him but he loves so so much, he's asking you if you will come, he will love you and cherish you everyday of your life, he will never abandon you, I beg you to take a chance and not reject God's love for you, he wants to heal you and you to enjoy a living relationship between you, God bless you so much, Jesus says to come to him for rest your weary soul he is humble and meek and tender and gentle, he loves you so much he knows everything about you, nothing about you is unimportant to him 😭❤❤ If you repent and call on his name you will be saved from hell and Jesus's wrath and judgement for all have sinned!! ❤ For God so loved The World that gave his only begotten son that whoever should believe in him will not perish but have eternal life!! 💙🙌🏻 repent all have sinned and fallen short!!❤️🔥❤♥️

I have one of the seasons of ATHF on DVD and I always find it so hilarious that when you press “play all”, thinking that you’re going to be watching the episodes one after another like any other show on DVD does, instead you’re blasted with everything single episode on that DVD played all at once on individual boxes on your screen 😂
I thought my DVD player was broken for so long when I got that DVD
I forgot about that EVERY SINGLE TIME I booted up the DVD as a teen.
They did a similar gag on TV when the movie came out. They told everyone that they were gonna air it completely commercial free, and what they actually did was play it in a box in the bottom right corner of the screen over every show in their line up with no audio, and Spanish subtitles. Was the funniest shit ever.

And I say that as someone who accidentally started to watch AS back then would end the night as CN by showing seemingly endless reruns of the original Space Ghost cartoon and slowly over time you would be faced with more and more skits and voiceover segments of the "coast to coast" Space Ghost" which left your average viewer like myself increasingly confused and amused and it would all crescendo until they finally aired an episode of "coast to coast".
That whole arrangement is quite honestly on, if not *the* cleverest and engaging pieces of promo work I have ever experienced. It made me an immediate fan of both Adult Swim and both of the versions of Space Ghost I had been introduced to.
It's sad to see how disconnected the company is from itself and it's audience (not to mention how terribly it treats the talent and creators of the various programmes for them. Martin C Crocker, the voice of both Brak and Moltar most famously, recently passed away primarily due to not being able to afford the healthcare he required to treat him), I swear they think they are the producers of high art nowadays and their own attitudes towards the Space Ghost character is a testament to how badly they need to wake up and smell the roses.

It was a show that by this virtue, made it infinitely rewatchable. Made on the cheap and played in reruns and never got stale. Society had to change and a new gen with their own voice had to come along for it to not be as relevant as it once was.

When I was a pubescent teen, at first glance looking at the promos for this show, I thought this was the stupidest shit put on TV. Then back in 2003, I accidentally ended up watching an episode and really taking a shine to Master Shake's asshole, bullshit artist character and bully dynamic to Meatwad, then every other character fell into place for me to love this show. You're right, Shake is pretty much Eric Cartman, which is probably why I started liking the show because I was starting to get into South Park at the same time, too. Carl most definitely has to be Kenny, then. 🤭😭😂 Alot of memorable episodes like "Broodwich," "Total Re-Carl", "Dumber Dolls," "The Cloning," "Super Birthday Snake," "Global Grilling," " The Clowning," "Drippy", "Ezekiel," the episode were The Mooninites try to cash a check, and "Hand Banana" (probably the funniest episodes I'd almost died laughing at). Seinfeld needs to lose that slogan for their show. Aqua Teen Hunger Force was a show about nothing, and it was and STILL is AWESOME! 😂😁😎

It's been 15 years and I had no clue they were sentient food mascots. I never even questioned the premise, I just got real stoned and accepted that it was real

I watched this show when it aired back in the day, still watch some of the episodes cuz nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
What a nice little deep-dive! Rick & Morty and Smiling Friends may be the top dogs of Adult Swim these days, but Master Shake, Frylock and Meatwad will always be the mascots of the block in my eyes.
Also, I gotta give a special shout-out to the Mooninites; hands down the best characters in the whole series, atleast in my opinion. No one can defeat the Quad Laser!

Aqua Teen is about three food creatures ruining the life of their neighbor.
There's a lot of common threads between the two.
Sure, there's correlation, commonality, and similarities, but one makes you hate the boring af main characters because of their behavior and intent, and the other makes you hate that you like these horrible "a-hole" characters
And only one of those shows are actually enjoyable (ATHF) and not endlessly, frustratingly dull (Seinfeld)

As a kid I never understood this show, as an adult it's some of the funniest god-damned shit ive ever seen.
The main problem with the Boston situation is where the devices were placed. They weren't just on walls of random shops or apartments. They were on bridge supports and other prime demolition areas.

I saw ATHF:MFFT in theaters back in the day. There were 4 other people there, two stoners and two old ladys who were super offended, it was great.
I miss when the pop-up website was an actual domain you could visit. Enter the domain name as spelled out in the episode (which the algorithm _won't_ let me do even without punctuation for God knows why), you'd be greeted by sound clips of Master Shake, a repeating buffering animation, and catch occasional glimpses of the Wwwyzzerddd as he flooded your browser with fake pop-up ads until your browser crashed. Unfortunately, ad-blockers came out a couple years later, and the charm fell off a cliff. Still, the site remained up for many years after the episode aired.
They put actual effort into that website. You don't see that kind of fake tie-in site/elaborate shitpost anymore in mainstream media...

I just started watching athf last month but I would honestly agree that it’s one of the greatest shows ever made in adult swim
Gonna be honest, whenever I watch videos discussing Aqua Teen Hunger Force, a point I tend to disagree with is the idea that it's just pure nonsense with no rhyme or reason with writing that feels like it's just pure stream of consciousness. I'm not saying it's straight genius or that the show isn't weird, but it's like when I watch the show I get the strong impression that the writers just straight know what they're doing. Characters have strong personalities and chemistry with one another, gag one offs and reocurring characters have some clear intentions behind how they can bounce off the main cast. Like the bible fruit present a fun idea of what if The Aqua Teens met characters more maladjusted than them and suddenly they look like the normal ones in comparison. Alot of Carl's characterization does so much to make him more interesting than just a straightman to the Aqua Teens and show how he's a pretty far gone bad person with self-destructive habits. Like so many episodes indicate clear as day that the show's not pure randomness and that the writers have very clear ideas of what they want to do with the characters and episode plots.
i discovered this show when i was in high school, and i had watched it all the way through so many times that by the end of my senior year i could recall entire episodes while bored in class lol

For me, the funniest part of the episodes is that it just ends, abruptly. Usually right as Carl is getting the brunt of whatever the group was cooking up.

Let me tell you, going to a theatre to see the movie was one of the most surreal experiences of all time. Amazing time.

Surreal humor can, surprisingly, be quite difficult to do properly. There's a very fine line between bizarre and nonsensical situations being funny and entertaining, and it feeling like the creator is trying too hard to be "totally random." Aqua Teen Hunger Force managed to go right to the edge of that line without really ever crossing it. It was pure unadulterated insanity that made zero sense and was completely ridiculous from front to back, but it always felt organic. It never had that cringe sensation of "lol look at this, it's so random and out of nowhere uhuhuhuhuhuh."
The "Hand Banana" episode is cursed and aged horribly but I still love ATHF. It's the greatest show ever created by Mooninites.

My absolute favorite ever-running gag of ATHF is the intro and most external material presenting the team doing epic stuff yet in-show they never do any of that stuff in the absolute, I love the idea of that

I’ve been waiting for this retrospective for years! This show is banished to the darkest corners of my mind, childhood memories peaking through soggy, crusty eyes just to see the most absurd and, a lot of the time, gory bits to ever grace the airwaves.

This was my first adult swim show, i watched it when i was in the 2nd grade. I didn't understand it but it was funny to me. Master shake is the perfect example, on how to write a jerk character becausehe gets whats coming to him but is to stupid or stubbornto learn😂. I can't stand it when jerk characters get away scott free

How in the hell did one confused a led light with a bomb??? I've seen thousands of LED lights and ain't a damn one of them blown up! I mean after you find the first one, why keep spending the money to employ all those city employees to take them down "safely" unless it was just a ploy to grab some money! Look me the city has spent all this money to take down these supposed bomb threats... Boston should have to give all that money back! This is just another example of creative people making money and then the system turning on them! "For safety" if you ask me if you're that scared of LED lights you shouldn't be employed by the city at all!
They put those signs up in 11 cities before the movie came out. 10 of them gave zero F’s about the things, one lost its freaking mind. That Boston was the only one to throw an embarrassing hissy fit will come as no surprise to folks who have spent much time there
