Part 2 question 2 is (D) She thinks it deserves a better grade. because: Based on the conversation between the professor and the student, the correct answer to the question "Why does the student show the professor her essay?" is: The student, Michelle, discusses her essay with the professor because she received a C+ grade and does not understand what she is doing wrong. She wants feedback on how to improve and understand what the professor is looking for in a good essay.
