Love your videos and I can say that the review is spot on, I've owned BMW's, R1150 and k100rs, Suzuki's, Honda's and presently I own a 2012 S10 that is by far my favorite. I test drove 2014 F800gs, r1200gs and the 2012 and 2014 Super Tenere with cruise control, It was a coin toss for me at the time so I went with the 2012 for 10500 1 1/2 years ago and 9k+miles and have no regrets. Love the scenery of your country, would LOVE to visit.

How are the oem panniers on this bike? Are they spacious and durable? Are they completely waterproof?
Thanks for your great videos. Though I just found your series of moto videos, it's great timing since I am looking at getting my first dual sport moto for long adventure. This Tenere is nice but I think my price range is going to end up being more like a KLR 650. In my daydreams I ride a Paris-Dakar. :)

Any thoughts to doing head to head comparisons of bikes? I think you would have a unique perspective on say the Super Tenere vs. Triumph Tiger & the video would be great

I'm having a blast on my Yamamaha S10. It's made for IBA rides and camping trips. Crap conditions mean nothing to this bike. It'll munch miles of dirt or broil the tar without problems. It's a dang two wheeled Jeep. Too bad the seat causes me to sit on my sack, I'll have to modify the cushion.
Nice bike, but how is it on fuel use ?

Yet, with comments below, folks are asking for negatives... I have spoken to owners of this Bike and they all had 'nothing' but great things to say about it. But there has to be something you would like changed or improved on.
We ALL love our Bikes, yet when pressed, or after stating all the good points.....every owner would have something negative to 'admit' to ;)
I hope you soon test the ZE 2014 model.

Hi ShabangalangMoto, I have to say that I absolutely loved the Super Ténéré, the only negative that I really found was the windscreen as it needed tools to adjust, however they rectified this on the 2014 model so I chose not to include this in my review as I felt it is now irrelevant.

Low center of gravity?
Pushing almost 600 Lbs with panniers. That's way too heavy for off road adventure.

No it's not too heavy for off road adventuring.. I wouldn't take it out on technical stuff but I've had my super 10 ES on the fire roads around Big Bear lake California and it gives the most unbelievable traction and the center of gravity is super low.
Jesus how much did Yamaha pay you guys for this review? I don't remember hearing a single negative thing about the Tenere. It must therefore be the most perfect motorcycle ever built!

This is not a review, but an add. Abs can t be disabled, windscreen is bad, underpowered due to regulations, ecu reflash gives more hp, releasing the potential, 20 more hp. All in all, a good bike, but mneh review...

I sure do, but luckily as of late I've been riding and testing lots of great bikes so negatives are few and far between at the moment. Sorry for being so positive :)
