I love Martin Shaw.
Thank you so much Greenheart, blooming Alan Titchmarsh, putting Martin on a day early! How are we supposed to keep track?! LOL!!
Thank you! Thank you! I Sky+ this yesterday so you can imagine my disappointment when I played it back and no gorgeous, talented Mr Shaw! Your a sweetheart for doing this and so quickly. A great interview as usual Alan Titchmarsh seems to get a lot of info out of Martin. Glad there is to be another series of gorgeous George Gently. Fab! Good on him taking the time to mentor the am dram group in Liverpool too. Well done Martin and yes we all pine for Judge John Deeds hasty return to our screens.
Good on you for being so quick off the mark and thanks for sharing this treat :-)
Thanks for upping this, Greenheart. Alan Titchmarsh is a great host. The best part here was where MS talked about working with those amateurs and he suddenly changes his accent! It was fun to listen to, although of course the main thing was his healthy look on the work with amateurs.
Thanks for this!
Alan Ttichmarsh has a rare gift in a talkshow host - he not only asks the right questions, but is genuinely interested in the answers and in his guests. I guess that's why MS always seems very relaxed and happy on his show. He has said more than once that on stage he's an actor who reacts to the others, who needs the interaction, the partnership. Maybe the same is true here.
Thanks for sharing these interviews! I often miss them when they're on TV! :D
Thanks for sharing this:)
Gently in the Cathedral - series 5, episode 4. The last in the series, and a really good one.
But sad at the end.
thanks for this post matey, it's wonderful :)
You're welcome. It was a very good interview indeed.
I remember The Priests -interview on AT's show, and that was lots of fun too. And you can see how he watches and follows the guest, it really is as if there just were two people chatting with each other on something that greatly interests them both. I think all the best hosts have the same gift - I used to love Parkinson too, the rare times I got to watch his talk-show.
This is Alan Tichmarsh before that drunken rampage with a chainsaw outside that brothel in Las Vegas. Shocking.
Still....he's a great interviewer when his temper is under control.

Hi, this channel is about Martin Shaw, not created by him. As far as I know there is no blog or website where he communicates with his fans. Greenheart
