It was only last Tuesday when I was driving that route on way back to the airport to home in UK.., and felt really special and weird to be driving next to Minnesund, seeing in real life the Wood Hotel and where you do the coasting test… 😊😊
I ordered a Skoda Enyaq RS Coupe a couple months ago... still waiting for it to arrive, so if you order one be ready to wait half a year or something like that, the delivery time has improved but still very long delivery time compared to the competition. I really like how the car looks and feels.
They clearly don't want to sell too many BEVs, in order not to exceed/fall below the fleet consumption targets. My brother is still waiting for his BMW iX, postponed by 6 months, total waiting time 12 months.
@@Zedus-rl9hp My guess is that some brands (like skoda enyaq), gets lower priority at the factory or parts specially when a similar car (audi q4) has faster delivery time. Exampel Tesla that overproduces or the ID3-ID4, it improves delivery time, but if it doesn´t sell its dead cash.

When it is cold again, it would be interesting to test again whether they could also improve winter consumption. And why they are still using kWh/h?! kWhshsh/hshsh would be better 🙃
Check the ID 7 and M3 LR HL videos at 3 deg and rainy conditions to get an idea. Tesla a bit more efficient (7%). Not super cold but an average winter in Northern Germany. Units were discussed before but it is commonly used. Also think about your electricity bill. It is kWh/year and not kW.
@@christianlinke380 The unit kWh/year is not directly listed on my electricity bill - so it seems to be a German thing. kW would be wrong because it is a power and not an energy specification.
@@Zedus-rl9hp You see. You making fun of units while simultanously using the very same unit and not even recognizing it. Of course, the unit of kWh/ year is not directly on the bill. But the consumption is and more importantly the reporting time frame (week, month or year). If you combine the two info you get this unit. As an example...an average family consumes approx 4000 to 5000 kWh/a. (a...year). Now u can happily cancel out the times in the unit to have kW but again this is not how consumption is generally displayed.
@@christianlinke380 Okay, i combine the two units: kWh / h = kW correct? It simply makes no sense to specify /h if the energy is based on hours anyway. If it said kWh/min, kWh/day, it would be different - but that is not what it says and therefore, from a technical and mathematical point of view, it makes no sense.
@@Zedus-rl9hp you meant to say it does not make sense to you. Regardless, if this one annoys you already so much, check power label on light bulbs. 5kWh/1000h. That is next level.
From my experience you need to raise the low ends in the VW/Skoda sound systems to get a more noticable bass. Even in my stock sound system that helped a lot. By default they are adjusted very neutral which can sound a bit flat.
Sure, but they still won't go deep because the drivers are small. That's on purpose, VW wants Audi and Porsche to feel more premium than the "value" cars, good sound system would actually cost almost nothing.
I have the HarmanCardon on my 2024 ID4 and it has these H/C sound profiles enabled by default, which modify the EQ even though the EQ sliders are at zero. So you get the impression that even at zero the sound is great. I personally leave the sliders to zero and select the Vibrant profile and add a bit of surround in the second page. The surround slider gives nice stereo feel on all the seats.
Thanks for the test. How did you measure the usable capacity of up to 75 kWh? I have not yet seen a usable capacity of 75 kWh in any test or diagnostics. It's a shame that you didn't charge the car to 100% and you could have driven for 1% or until the car stopped, that's when the reality would show. And the new Tesla Model Y LR has a usable capacity according to diagnostics of 79.5 kWh, if you haven't driven it yet, you would like to do a range test at the same temperature.
You don’t need a fully loaded RS model with race seats like this for a family car. All Enyaq are equipped nicely, if you go for 1 trim above base you have more than enough. And it’s way cheaper.
Bjorn, I never understand why you never tune the sound system then review the sound. You may have mentioned it before in another video and if you have, I missed it. This seriously makes little sense to me. You'll set almost everything else in the car to maximize range, including tire pressure but leave the sound systems to its defaults.
Regeneration only captures about half of the energy, so it’s more efficient to let the car coast. That’s why the D-mode is more efficient since it lets the car coast more and only regen if there’s something in front of you, like a car or an intersection. In B-mode you are mostly either accelerating or decelerating = spending energy or trying to capture some.
