In the mid 1980's I worked at a VW/Porsche/Audi dealership in Pennsylvania, USA as a Mechanic Apprentice. I was asked by a salesman if I would do a dealer swap for him from Delaware. A coworker drove me in a VW Golf to pick up a brand new 1987 Audi Quattro Coupe, in Red, like the one here in the video. Only thing is we forgot a dealer license plate. I did not worry. I drove the Audi back to Philadelphia without the dealer tag and did 115 mph on the highway and never got stopped by the police.

Fantastic restoration! The model looks great and I really like the new wheels. This is a good looking car and it would be interesting to see one customized into a rally version. Thanks for sharing this.
Great job Danny, when I first saw what car you were doing I had hoped it would be a Rally car. Oh well, it looks really good and brought back some memories of wourking on a few growing up.
Brilliant job as always,i spotted the twist at the start of video and thought how's he gonna fix this. But then again i was looking at it 20x its size on my 28 inch monitor spinning. Looks like it's the right side A pillar is lower. Not to worry though still looks A1 keep up the good work..
Cool, period correct colour icw the decals. Love the new style wheels fitted. Maybe a little lowering would be suitable. Did you try once to make a decal of a register plate? Thanks for the video Danny.
Cool vid liked how it turned out one way to clear up the windows is to put them in a ziplock baggy with some hydrogen peroxide and leave it in the sun or under a uv lite for a bit of 🕙 and it should clear up 24 hrs if under blacklite
Cool build and everything it honestly looks awesome but that isn't red that's Orange I thought it was my phone making it look orange but I looked at it on four different devices and every one of them showed that that was orange not red
Superbe vidéo avec de magnifiques voitures, bravo ! Bravo ! 👏👏👏 Je collectionne des Ferrari à l'échelle 1/18 de mon côté et j'ai beaucoup apprécié ta vidéo. Abonne-toi à ma chaîne ! 🙂
Another fantastic restoration
Great job with the Audi Quattro . Looks like a brand new car.
Quattro ! What a classic ! Looks great mate
Awesome job as usual Danny
Beautiful restoreation. The car turns out great.
A beast of the Group B, the truly beginning of it, and iconic as the Lancia Delta S4 is for that era. Awesome work bud.

Awesome
I was plenty upset when Marty; had real nerve enough to, restore the old classic 1966 batmobile. This caused me to raise real nerve racking screeches.
@@MrBigBoots2163-z5k The Batman TV series; still caused me to, scoff at every pregnant Watsonville CA woman and their unborn child.

Wow great restoration!
Great restoration and the colour is really nice even though it looks orange on my screen.
There has been no matchbox toy car; that has the same shape of a 4 door sports car, that runs on air. That's what Autobot Blurr comes in the form of.
Looks awesome great job cheers KC Tasmania Australia
Nice car inside & out.
Wow, an amazing transformation, the bright red paint really suits this car!!.

Im restoring a 1982 quattro... where can I get these decals? Can't find them anywhere!

Great job, mate! Another masterpiece. I didn’t notice the twist until you mentioned it.
What a cool model!
Great work Danny Brian Thailand
Great work Danny once again! 👍🏼
Lovely job
Nice job! I had a 1990 Audi 90 Quattro Coupe some years back, pearl white. I sure miss that car.
Amazing work!

One of my very favorite early 80's cars!

The Audi came out really nice, much better than most in my opinion.
What a beauty! Great job as usual! Keep em coming!
Great job Danny, when I first saw what car you were doing I had hoped it would be a Rally car. Oh well, it looks really good and brought back some memories of wourking on a few growing up.
This looks great!
Very well done. There’s enough black there to offset all that red. Good call on colors.
Looks great !
You have an eye for seeing what can be, versus what it is. Great Job....miracle worker. 😇

Really nice work, I'm not totally sold on the wheels but otherwise another quality job mate!
Very nice 👍
A Red & a Black set I have. But your work is crazy good! B.P.
I wish. Lucky you ;}
That was the car that won the Grand Prix .
The only thing I have to say is... The center A Pillar need to be black too. BUT! Great work Danny!
B pilar front to rear is A front , B mid , C rear
I love what I see awesome.
Way cool!!
Cool but I think white should be the go to colour for the Quattro!
I like this the Audi Quattro
Cool, period correct colour icw the decals. Love the new style wheels fitted. Maybe a little lowering would be suitable. Did you try once to make a decal of a register plate?

1200 👍
Gene Hunt approves.
Fire up the Quattro! :)
I’ve got one the Superkings Quattros. Looks identical to this but 1:36? scale

It was Vallejo Pure Red.
Looks like it came right out of the Ashes to Ashes TV series. Intentional?
i got one boxed the paint was flaking off
Lindo!
That was the first car I ever owned. Payed $175 for it. That thing was clapped out.
Worth a decent amount now in good condition.
Yeah all the old cars we used to pay $500 bucks for as teens are now worth thousands as classics.
@@DannysDiecastDisasters tell me about it. The car I learned to drive in was a 70 chevelle Ls454, worth about 100k now.
I have an “inn-y”!

is it just me or is that car twisted?
Wisecrack; I gave every pregnant woman a sore tummy.
My dad ruined the whole red car thing for me. I never want to own a red car. Never the less great registration anyway.
doesn't even look like the same car
Wrong wheels 😤
Did anyone else notice that the body was twisted? Lol you said it just as I pushed post.
👍
Great work Danny once again! 👍🏼
