Hello. The only difference is the type of SWITCH they use. The OMROM has a SWITCH with a longer useful life than the CHERRY ones.

I plan to do the same or buy hori alpha could help choose? I think that modding will be better than stock alpha but there is doubts that when the lever is shifted, then the case will be not steady on the table because of a small weight

I really recommend a MOD too. Regarding stability, this model that I show already has a rubber base that keeps it quite firm on a table, otherwise you can add others or add weight inside to make it firmer (this really is up to each individual ).
Keep in mind that the HORI ALPHA comes from the factory with a HAYABUSA joystick and buttons.
