    Bought a descaler from Amazon. Bought ppm tabs for testing, also.
    Small 16k “salt free” descaler and use it for our Rv. The tester strips went from red to green. Calcium build up is gone on fixtures and takes waaaaay less soap when cleaning. No longer have the water spot issues or need to buy salt once a month. The unit requires a back flush on occasion and that’s it. Supposed to last 7 years. I’m ok with $150-200 every 7 years. Maybe a lot has happened in three years from the making of this video

    So if I only want to protect my pipes and appliance then all I need is a descaler right? And if I want chemical and mineral free drinking water I'll get a water softener right? thanks

    Good video. I would have added/corrected you about the "slippery/slimy feeling" business. The slippery feeling of your skin when you shower is NOT the water...it is your skin, being its' wonderful, smooth self...without the sticky crud that soap forms with hard water, your skin does not get gummy/sticky. When people say "the soap doesn't rinse off", I tell them to wash their hands with soap, rinse them briefly and while they are supposedly still slippery from soap, put their fingers in their mouth...NO soap taste!

    What is the difference? Is it just preference? I'm on a well with no filter at all currently.

      @Crystalclear-systems  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes preference and they do different things to the water, well water you most likely will want a water softener.l as it removes the hardness unlike the descaler. a water softener gives you more for your money and does more. But soMe people don’t like the way it feels, however there is a way to prevent that

    I would rather die than live with soft water. That shit is disgusting. Is there anyway to remove the scale from the pipes without softening?

      That's what the guy in the video is explaining. If all you want is to remove the scale and buildup, you want the descaler.

    I feel like this is not a fair assessment of the differences. Softeners cost more, so maybe there is bias here from someone selling softeners?

    All these system will still leave your hair and skin flat and dull. That’s the trade off. I have a $3k ion exchanger from Culligan water and my hair is still flat.

      Then there's no way it's working if you have a water softener from Crystal clear water and it's actually working, your hair will be soft and silky. Smooth we can come out and test your water to verify if your water softener is working, but if it was, you would not be saying that.

    If you want the cleanest water in your shower and through out your water pipes , distillation is the best choice. Almost all viruses and bacteria and nearly all heavy chemicals and with a simple solution remove all viol tile gases with a tiny hole in the evaporation process. You will achieve less than 10 parts per million . Safe drinking water. I get 1-2 parts per million on my tests. The problem is distillers eliminate a lot of problems and can destroy the economy of the plumbing market. Why would you need a plumber if buy new equpimrnt if all your pipes and appliances can last over 100 years?
    That slimy feeling g after the shower is from the salt, just like when you come out of a salt watered pool.

      “Viruses” and “Bacteria” are a defense mechanism our body produces in order to fight off invasive toxins. Genetic material outside the body is simple dead. It doesn’t live outside of us. It’s the old fraudulent Germ theory Louis Pasteur came up with and someone by the name of Antoine Bechamp was there to challenge him with his Terrain theory. Look it up, it’s all a scam when it comes viruses being labeled a transmissible disease. They’ve sold us all on that brainwashed idea and we all fell for it. Look at like this, when there’s enough garbage in your body, your body must purge and clean up the waste by removing it, thus why we get the “Flu”. It’s not your little nephew’s fault or niece or someone in your family that got you sick. It’s what you ingested, water toxicity, food toxicity and so on. Emotional toxicity and fear is another way also but I digress. It’s the contaminants and the toxins in our water and food that gets us sick, not viruses and germs.

      I’m sick of my water softener system and I will look into the distillation method That you’ve suggested.

    One major difference that this guy doesn't mention ..... In a Salt System.... you are consuming all the Sodium......
