    Got this last week on the Prime 2 day event.... £59.99.....absolute bargain 👌
    The triggers are insane!

      I know man the controller is unbelievable. Hey are you plugging the headset in the controller? Did you notice anything different with the game sound coming from it?

    • @daleschofield384
      @daleschofield384 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thephototechy yeah, only using an Arctis 3 headset, and the sound is great. I've had Atmos before with the Nacon Compact and there's a definite difference between Atmos for headphones and Windows Sonic, in my opinion.

    This controller kinda reminds me of the pdp controller and it wasn’t bad but the power a fusion 3 looks like it might be better nice review

    • @thephototechy
      @thephototechy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey I’ve just reviewed the fusion pro 3 and yes I’m actually loving the fusion. Unfortunately my elite series 2 developed issues with very minimal use. So it’s either the gambit or the fusion for me personally.
      And yes victrix is made by PDP, something they have changed with their pro PS5 controller. Don’t know why they used victrix for Xbox.

      @@thephototechy yeah I could see some similarities with the gambit and pdp controller I’ve personally never got an elite I’ve always heard they just break and not worth it so I never wanted to waste my money but now it’s just which company I like better pdp or power a because both controllers I enjoyed using but I’m not sure which to get for longevity and gameplay in my experience power a was better for game play but pdp felt for durable I dropped it like 100 times but it just randomly had a crack in the paddle and the paddle just wasn’t easy to press on anymore but other than that I can tell that one was more durable

    Can you say if you noticed any difference in sound quality/volume like you have on the rematch model ?

    • @thephototechy
      @thephototechy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man yes the volume is low on this one as well. I did reach out to victrix but haven’t heard anything back. The volume being low is a bit of a let down. The thing is they have sounds to indicate when u reach max volume and these particular sounds are loud, it’s only the game audio that’s low. The good thing with gambit is there is an option to tweak the EQ and with “slight bass” settings the audio is adequate but I do feel it needs a bit more volume. I honestly thought there was something wrong with my hearing lol but checking the elite S2 I know it’s not me, I can’t game on full volume with series 2. The quality however is very good. If you have a headset with good noise isolation than you’d be fine, but I’d like me you are using generic earbuds, that might be an issue. I just don’t like a headset, I’m hoping to get a steel series nova but because of this controller I’m thinking I’ll be getting the wireless one. The thing is this controller gaming performance is sooooo good this has become my main controller for MW2. I’m shooting the full review this week.

      wow can't wait for it. I'm very tempted by this controller!
      I bought the series 2 at launch but had to remplace it twice due to RB and face button problems so... I'm still looking for a good pro controller.

  • @HeartInLight

    0/0 deadzone?! Thats insane! I hope mine is that good. My elite 2 is like .08 at best in mw2 :\ And it just feels sloppy in comparison to the fusion a pro 2 i got as a backup. Hopefully the victrix is everything I hope it is. Cause the power a is an ok backup, and the elite 2 is a serious disappointment. Im on my 4th one of those in 7 months...terrible qc issues.

    • @thephototechy
      @thephototechy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man I've done a comprison of the PDP rematch against the Power A. PDP and victrix are 1 and the rematch also matches the stick and aiming of the victrix. I think what they are doing is amazing, there are built in deadzones but they behave somewhat differently. I believe they might be using a custom response curve, something like the series 2 offers in the xbox app, but here it's on a different level. Only thing is have to make sure the game you are playing supports deadzone adjustment, usually there is a .10 in every game's standard setting and if you keep that the victrix feels way off, so in game deadzones have to be zero for sure with victrix. My full indeapth review on this beauty is out very soon.

    Hi mate, watched all your vids on this and just bought one, can you tell me what your vibration is like? Mine is very faint even on 100%, so im thinking ive got a dud 😢, thanks buddy.

      Hey I just checked it agains tthe standard xbox controller and it's definitely on par with it. There are no motors in triggers so it's missing that but the normal rumble motors feel strong. You can check it by using the powerA gamer HQ app, there is a rumble test feature in the app, I'd say test it against the standard controller and if it feels weaker then definitely reach out to PDP or replace it if still able to do so.

      Hey I downloaded through the Microsoft store. Searching victrix should bring it up in the apps section.

    Do you not find the audio low when using a wired controller? I have a Sennheiser game one wired headset and it's amazing . When plugged into my elite series 2 controller it's super loud. But in the Victrix it's not , even with everything turned up to full

    • @thephototechy
      @thephototechy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man I've recently uploaded the full review of this, in there I mentioned the biggest negative for me is the audio. I find the pure audio profile to be like 50% of my Elite S2, the Light base and heavy base opens the audio up and are like 80% of the Elite. I don't know what the reason behind this is but I find the controller can't run every headset. For me the best experience is with the Sennheiser HD598 with the light base profile, for audio processing I find the Dolby app to not perform that good with victrix, but the DTS app is a very good. I wish this could produce the audio like the Elite S2 as I love my Epos H6 pro with the elite S2 and Dolby processing.

    I hate the indent on side because they put hard cover over the rubber and why when I plug headset to this controller don't work.

    Hey bro, how is the minimum deadzone ? A lot of people are complaining about built-in deadzone... What do you think??

    • @thephototechy
      @thephototechy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes these do have minimum deadzones I can’t say if it’s 5% or 10%. But for some reason I aim so good with this controller it’s beyond me. I’ve tried many things with my elite series 2 core trying to get the thumbstick to respond like this but nada. I think victrix and PDP have done some custom response curve with the built in deadzones. I tried all my controllers with zero deadzones in cod and all except the victrix and PDP have some stick drift. At first I thought maybe the whole marketing thing about fastest controller has something to do with the thumbstick response but the £29 PDP rematch kinda respond the same as this maybe a bit different.
      When I’m playing cod and moving around without ADS keeping my reticle at the desired place whilst moving is much easier with this controller than my elite series 2. I managed to get all my marksman rifles platinum with this thing, I didn’t think I’d be able to that 😂.

      I have this controller already one year. Its amazing controller , but same… one year i was thinking why i can put 0 deazones in each game and still feels like 0.05 or something :S

    The best victrix or elite series 2 ?

    • @thephototechy
      @thephototechy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bro if they take out that forced minimum deadzone on the victrix, I’d say victrix all day long. Personally I’d pick the victrix, but if you can get a good unit of elite series2( I was unlucky with mine), then that’s a solid option with 4 proper back pedals.
