- Beat My Time. Trail #294 to #261 No breaks nonstop riding through Tongue Mt., Devils Staircase, Juniper Peak and arriving at Sunrise Peak in 44:13. Thought this might be fun for someone else who likes to challenge themselves. I hope more people start timing their rides on their local trails. I think it would be cool to go to different trails and see riders names and their times.

Still think it's crazy no young guy hasn't come and easily beat my time. Back 20 years ago if I had a plus 40 guy calling me out I'd be all over it lol
Anyways 2nd year with my fx450, the nicest bike I've ever owned and finally got the suspension done. First ride out and I can't believe how much better it is. Still lots of time on this trail. I had a couple mishaps and wasn't pushing as hard as I think I can. Amazed I was able to beat the 44:13

INSANE! This is the best mountain bike downhill anywhere in the PNW, in my opinion. Even from the top of Sunrise for us, though, it's gotta be a couple hours to the bottom of Tongue, because of the climbing.

O ya. It's way different that back in the day.
I was going to go try yesterday, took off from elk pass with a gallon and a half of gas on my back. It took me 3 tries on Superman and so I just went to McCoy and back. It was tiring, I should have emptied a gallon at Superman, I was hoping to just grease it first go.
Timed myself from 259 junction to elk pass 53:26. lots of meat on the bone for that one, might wanna give it a go.

YESSSSS. Change so fun. Yep usually takes me a couple times at superman also. That obstacle is gnarly
@@JakeRawSon I gave it a shot last week, first time on that trail but I ended up at 47 something. Didn't really pay that close of attention because I wasn't even close. It would take me learning the trail and probably not having moon dust slick everywhere. You're legit fast dude. I'm generally mid pack to on the podium in vet or 40+ A when I race.
I think I may have seen you at the bottom of the trail the next day, I didn't try that day because I was with another guy for the way up, but conditions were actually better that day, a bit more moisture in the dirt.

And you did it riding a Husqvarna...😂. What bike? 350, 450, 501? At 9:50 on your video is where I spun out and have a nice left butt cheek knot and bruise from end of July. We were riding the opposite way you are riding. Nice ride.
I got this fx 450 to kinda do everything until I can save up enough money for a 300 two stroke.
Ya that 9:50 part and 15:00 part of the trail feel like it's more challenging then devils these days.
I aint shit in the Gifford, but you'd be lucky to qualify as my shit anywhere. If you're looking ogle a stud, look up Jeff Dmax
Jeff and Ben are my hero's for riding up some of the stuff I can only hope to be able to ride up someday.
