For me, it's a form of mourning, a reminder of the reality that Jonghyun is gone. If I shed tears while watching, that's OK, he wouldn't mind and I feel better afterward. Mourning is not something that's ever finished...survivors, and his fans ARE survivors, just gradually learn to live with that sore spot in their heart. Time helps.

This part of the funeral was for US, the public and I am thankful to be able to see it, as it's the only form of taking part in his farewell that is open to me. They could have chosen to ban flash photography but did not. I think it was very generous of J's mom to let us see this.

He pulled himself together and sang a duet so beautifully. He has a beautiful voice and seems to the best collaborator. Every duet I’ve seen has been excellent. He just matches his voice with others. I When he sang with Dongwook, he makes sure he doesn’t overpower. He is just the best. I hope he can get a family and be happy.
They say funerals are for the love ones . Many cultures around the world have such ceremonies so there must be a reason. It is definitely not meant to be disrespectful but to give the family and friends closure and a last chance to show that the deceased left a mark.
