Actually, the 4 of them looked sad. They all look like choked up and their smiles stiffened. The subtle eye twitch and the hard swallow they tried to hide. I rewatched this video as I got lost in the SHINee TH-cam hole again so this time I see more details about how they talked and their gestures. As a Shawol, this will always be something heartbreaking, even now, sobbing like a child is a norm because the pain remains.

A better translation than the one in the video would be "he was unwell health-wise", that whole exchange made me absolutely bawl, I think minho put what happened in the best way he could. Looking back at everything is always bittersweet but SHINee was 5 and always will be 5.

This really made me feel uncomfortable. Yes, his face says it all. He wanted to cry but he just couldn't. Also Onew too. He literally broke down inside when he saw Jonghyun crying. That gave a damage to members for sure and I can't accept that. Channel could explain this to kids in a way they could understand. I think the channel owes an apology to both members and fans. This video is good but when you see those parts, it really affects people who love him. I had a really tough time that day and this video took me to that day again. I really think this is wrong and to make sure that this won't happen again anywhere, I want an apology.

I am in SHAMBLES. He answered in such a good way for a child to understand. And those of us who are old enough to grasp it, felt how that hurt. To be honest, I love Shinee very much. They’re one of my first favorite groups but it hurts too much to listen a lot. I listen in a very bittersweet way.
Honestly, the way Minho handled the girls question was very mature. He didn’t want to make her sad and he also probably knows that with adults, the response would be something like “sorry for your loss” but with kids there would probably be a follow up question like “how?”

He really had that sad look on his face, of course they miss him, but I love how he pronounces his name even with joy and pride. And the way he explains why 'Uncle Jonghyun' wasn't there is priceless, with so much respect. Like I said, they really miss him, but they continue to make it amazing even without him (a really important part of the group)
Its nice to see that we are not just "erasing" Jonghyun from our memories. Its nice to see they didn't cut the scenes were they talked about him. You can tell that every member still feels the loss but they are still moving forward. I cried so much but im also happy i saw this video.

The kid who's a Key fan from Amazing Saturday seemed so awestruck when he realized. Awwww. And his reaction to 'SHINee's back' was so cute. I honestly did not expect I would burst into tears while watching this, but the look on Minho's face when the kid asked him about Jonghyun really got me. But he handled it very well, and I'm thankful that the kids were so understanding and didn't push too hard.
Minho telling the girl “hes not well” and “hes not a bad uncle” really is when i started crying my eyes out. But at the same time I'm so happy that they let at least one of the explanations in as I'm sure all of them had to explain why they suddenly went from 5 to 4. Minho's exchange for me was so heart warming. It makes me believe that they are doing well. That they miss him and that it still hurts but they're able to go on for him as that's what he would have wanted. SHINee will always and forever be five.

샤이니 세대를 관통한 저로선 오묘한, 뭔가 설명하기 어려운 기분이 들어요. 샤이니를 지키기 위해 멤버들이 참 열심히 달려왔구나. 그리고 2000년대 후반은 1년이 길었다고 느껴져요. 생각나는 것만 해도 누너예, 줄리엣, 조조, 산소 같은 너, 같은 컨셉으로 연하남 이미지 굳혀놓고, "완소남, 연하남들이 남자가 되어 돌아왔다" 면서 아미고, 링딩동 컨셉이 쇼크였는데 이게 다 1-2년안에 이뤄진거였다니... 정말 부지런히 활동 했었네요
I think they paired them all really well. I really like Onew's convo since he opened up by praising the child instead of hyping himself up and they just vibed. Key's was also funny since his kid was already a big fan. I'm glad they didn't cut out any Jonghyun scenes during Minho's talk. And Taemin's kid literally making him dance lol

That gave a damage to members for sure and I can't accept that. Channel could explain this to kids in a way they could understand. I think the channel owes an apology to both members and fans. This video is good but when you see those parts, it really affects people who love him. I had a really tough time that day and this video took me to that day again. The kid who's a Key fan from Amazing Saturday seemed so awestruck when he realized. Awwww. And his reaction to 'SHINee's back' was so cute.
I honestly did not expect I would burst into tears while watching this, but the look on Minho's face when the kid asked him about Jonghyun really got me. But he handled it very well, and I'm thankful that the kids were so understanding and didn't push too hard.
I‘m so proud of all from SHINee ... this really got me too ... ㅠ (sry if my English isn‘t good ... it’s my second language)

Minho telling the girl “hes not well” and “hes not a bad uncle” really is when i started crying my eyes out. Also when one of the girls said “ who is that?” And minho answered “ uncle jonghyun, hes one of our members.” That really broke my heart. He will forever be a shinee member. I knew i was gonna cry when i saw shinee. Shinee is officially back. 😊

When Minho had to explain why Jonghyun wasn't in "Good Evening", that got me. But at the same time I'm so happy that they let at least one of the explanations in as I'm sure all of them had to explain why they suddenly went from 5 to 4. Minho's exchange for me was so heart warming. It makes me believe that they are doing well. That they miss him and that it still hurts but they're able to go on for him as that's what he would have wanted. SHINee will always and forever be five.
Yeah exactly.. I seriously was about to cry, it really hurts to lose someone so close to you. And I think Jonghyun must be watching his members from above... May his soul rest in peace.

샤이니 세대를 관통한 저로선 오묘한, 뭔가 설명하기 어려운 기분이 들어요. 샤이니를 지키기 위해 멤버들이 참 열심히 달려왔구나. 그리고 2000년대 후반은 1년이 길었다고 느껴져요. 생각나는 것만 해도 누너예, 줄리엣, 조조, 산소 같은 너, 같은 컨셉으로 연하남 이미지 굳혀놓고, "완소남, 연하남들이 남자가 되어 돌아왔다" 면서 아미고, 링딩동 컨셉이 쇼크였는데 이게 다 1-2년안에 이뤄진거였다니... 정말 부지런히 활동 했었네요

I think they paired them all really well. I really like Onew's convo since he opened up by praising the child instead of hyping himself up and they just vibed. Key's was also funny since his kid was already a big fan. I'm glad they didn't cut out any Jonghyun scenes during Minho's talk. And Taemin's kid literally making him dance lol
