It's a shame Kacey isn't country anymore. Her unknown honky-tonk album from 2007 is a classic IMO. Her last album was just Taylor Swift-level revenge-on-my-ex woke garbage. RIP Loretta, wish more country artists could be such a class act as her.
She is very pretty but she will never have Loretta's voice. Just saying there is nobody that will ever sound close to Loretta Lynn's voice just something about her voice that fits that song even in her older age she still sounds good.

There is one person that does come to mind which that person is Rebba McCantire and can sing Loretta's songs very well. It's all in the expression and eye contact with the audience That's why I think Rebba MeCantire voice and expression comes close to Loretta Lynn. Kacy looks more like Loretta in her younger days and first years of singing.

Good heavens. I thought she was classier than that... she should have worn a dress she could enjoy herself in without having to worry about one move of the leg too far apart and advertising what's not for sale. Yikes. I'd much rather wear a classy dress and enjoy myself on stage than to feel like I have to stand in one place the whole time, in one position because my dress is too short or it might have a "costume mishap". She's pretty enough on her own that she would have nailed any dress she wore...
Exactly. There will never be a younger woman singer that will have that special voice that's on key with the song. You got to be willing to put that extra effort into it. People enjoy when another singer can at least sound somewhat the same as the original Singer.
