What Went Wrong With BAR?

British American Racing were a former F1 team who had their debut season in 1999 before being bought out at the end of 2005. What did BAR do wrong and force them to seek a buyout?

I heard somewhere that Craig Pollock is thinking of bringing back BAR with Saudi Arabian backing. I'm not sure weather it will actually be called BAR and have backing from British American Tobacco (unlikely since they are partnering with McLaren now and they are getting podiums and are constantly progressing), but it will be intersting to see where this goes. Maybe a big name will sign for them like Lando Norris or Sainz Jnr.
