JoeyGamer53 No, all of these are from episode 1, the Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad. This episode is showing how scratch and grounder were built. Due to the failure of the sonic bounty hunters in this video to kill sonic he created them. The continuation screen comes from the pilot episode, where dr r tells a bunch of robots they csn can name their own reward if they catch him.
I'll admit, it's an odd choice to use the robots who only appeared in the first episode as enemies. And yes, I'm aware that Coconuts, Grounder, and Scratch are recurring characters. Side Note: There are actually TWO Humpty robots.
I remember playing Mean Bean Machine with my little brother when we were kids. One day we discovered "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" and were so excited when we saw all the MBM robots in the first episode! Davey Sproket and Squeel were so tough in that game! 😂

Too bad only Coconuts, Grounder and Scratch had major parts. Some of these guys were pretty cool-looking and were quite troublesome in MBM. The two that most especially come to mind are Davy Sprocket and Sir Ffuzzy-Logik; cool designs and actually pretty good AI (out of everyone Sir Ffuzzy-Logik was the one I lost to the most; even Robotnik himself didn't give me as much trouble).

I'd love to see a Sonic Game where these guys come back as actual boss battles. Or perhaps like a mini boss fight like they had in Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. I would have loved to play as Sonic and defeat all those robots in an actual boss fight.

All characters from the very first episode and blatant throwaways at that, many of them with nondescript and mono-color blob-like designs. As a kid, this always kinda turned me off from Mean Bean Machine because of the missed opportunity - imagine if they had you competing against recurring characters like Wes Weasley, Breezie and Robotnik Jr. instead? But in retrospect, it's quite cool how these throwaway characters got a second lease on life!
Isn't it strange that Coconuts is lv.4 and Grounder is lv.8? I feel Coconuts is smarter than Grounder in the show and would be fought before Davey Sprocket

I think you forgot Scratch (STAGE 12), Grounder (STAGE 9) and Coconuts (STAGE 4)... Or maybe you've got a point excluding them, since they appear in every episode of AoSTH.
two things 1) Grounder was Stage 8 not stage 9 2) Scratch Grounder, and Coconuts unlike these robots appeared in multiple episodes where as these guys only appeared in this one episode so they weren't included.
He was too busy building Scratch and Grounder at this point, while Coconuts was preparing to sabotage their attempts to catch Sonic. Which could explain his demotion to Janitor Monkey.

Well obviously the graphics are much more better done and animated with detail than Dic’s very cheap animation at the time

This show is old though. Many people seem to dislike it over the humor the cartoon has compared to other shows Sonic has appeared in.
So far, everyone I've met who saw this show as a kid has fond memories of it and many of them still like it, even though production values were low.
