Biggest problem with this display is it reads 2 kph higher than the speed show on the car speedometer.
The more compact on screen M1 display you also show is also +2kph out of the box but this one is adjustable to match the speedometer.
@anthonythompson1775 yes, your right, that can be one disadvantage for some cars with this device, but not for all cars will that be a problem. The M1 is adjustable yes and for some cars like mine (Alfa Romeo), it is absolutely perfectly accurate to the speedometer straight out of the box with no adjustments required. Mazda and Ford will require adjustments to be made from what I've heard so far and there will be other cars aswell
It was interesting that the devices reading were so similar. Is that without any adjustments, and if so what were the setup values chosen on the devices? I guess that the vans gauge had a higher speed than both the devices?
I just ordered a M3 GPS due to 2 reasons. First that the OBD2 version would drain my battery (the car is used on the weekends). Second that the risk of the device causing issues in the cars different systems. But I would love to have a speedometer and avoid speeding in some long tunnels (low GPS connectivity) here in Sweden, where they have installed speed cameras. I became somewhat more tempted to order a OBD2 version and possibly bypass the power worry Amazon-browsing. That would be through a OBD extension adapter with a switch to toggle on/off the device to my needs, and not draining the battery while the car is parked.
I will try the GPS device first, I believe that I will be pleased. If not I will try the OBD2+the swtich adapter. Thanks for the video, really interesting results.
Thank you. Both my HUD's are set to default settings and are accurate to the speedometer. There's not much between them in regards to the accuracy, the OBD2 is just slightly more accurate to the cars speedometer as expected
legend thank for making the videos
Thank you, your very welcome 😀
Hy can i ask , will it alarm ⏰️ over speed automatically as road speed ?
@LamiyaFarvin no it's just a really basic HUD. The M1 has a built in speed alarm though which I also recommend th-cam.com/video/niFv0fHEVyk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KO90GBQzWH4Pp1Ce
How is it anchored to the dash?
@@anthonythompson1775 I just use adhesive velcro to attach it to the dashboard
These product Is waterproof? I have motorcycle
No it's not waterproof. If using it with a motorcycle you would need to put a waterproof cover around it for wet days
If they would ad the option to mirror the display you could lay it down and mirror it in the windscreen….
Yes but that is not always the best option when in very bright lights. This system is so small you can sit it anywhere on your dash and it's perfectly clear and visible in all lights, even really bright sunlight
Also no link to the product ?!
