I think you are in Iceland. My family is from there, but I live in Seattle now, and I know its typically a 7 hour flight to Iceland and this is the time of year you see the Northern Lights. Plusssssssssssss, I saw the license plate on your rental. :) Make sure you go to the Blue Lagoon! Make reservations ahead of time too! Also.... for some really good fun and food, go to Sushi Samba in downtown Reykjavík - ITS SO GOOD! Also, the Laundromat Cafe has excellent food and a public restroom downstairs. You will find that there are not a ton of public restrooms in downtown Reykjavík. I would also going to the Black Sand Beach, and if you rented an off road vehicle- there is SO much to do and see on your own!

Ahh, Iceland! The land of no mosquitos...would Love that!!! Saw Northern Lights several cold nights, snow on the ground, sitting on my front porch, 10 miles from the Canadian border in North Dakota. Ethereal, mysterious, captivating, like watching the gowns of angels waltz in the night sky.
When I saw Seattle, I immediately thought Yay, you’re coming to Vancouver...until I heard your second flight was 7 hours lol Then I thought maybe somewhere in Europe lol So sorry about turbulence. I guessed Iceland it is an incredible place and them northern lights WOW where I live in Scotland we get to see then this time of the year when it's clear skies 😁 carnt wait for this epice adventure if you look at the map you are closer to Scotland than you are to Utah just now lol 😅 so big love from us 😘😯xx

I am guessing Norway. I am currently in Switzerland and i know about the overnight flights. They do mess with you hope you got some sleep on them. I always have to get here and stay awake most of the day. Then get to bed at an early hour get up and go for a jog to help your body adjust to the jet lag.
I’m betting you guys flew on Monday! We had horrible wind here in Seattle that day. SeaTac airport recording a wind guest of 58 mph that day and briefly had a 10 minute grounding of all aircraft that day as well! I live about 15 minutes from the airport and it was horrible! I think your in Iceland though!
