I discovered this band by accident on ITunes in May of 2024. Their album was on sale. I liked the samples. I bought the album. Before long, I bought all the albums. Never heard of this band and wondered why the fuck not? This is some brilliant stuff. Encompassing every emotion you can think of. I listen to them compulsively, then tell myself I must must listen to something else, Pink Floyd for God's sakes. And then I'm going back to this band over and over. It touches my soul. It knows so much about me.
What has always interested me in this band is the lead singer and the passion he displays for the lyrics he is singing. Not like its just some song he is singing, but a story. His story. I love how personable it is.

I'm pretty sure that they don't have a manager or publicist; the band does all of that themselves. Maybe they need to hire a really great manager/publicist so they can get some good exposure. Umirin Brah What I mean about that is this...Blue October is by no means -- YET -- a household name. Every time I mention B.O. to a friend, family member or acquaintance, they look at me with a blank stare. In other words, this band that its fans (like us) all love so much is not U2, Foo Fighters, or Queen -- at least not yet. But like I already said, that's not a bad thing. I love the fact that B.O. is still not huge, because us fans can have much better access to them at their shows, having the chance to get up close and personal to these incredible musicians. Understand what I mean?

My daughter introduced me to blue October when she was in Junior HS, that was the only time of day when we were on the same pages. Rough days. Ten years later and now we have a great relationship, she took me to see this band this past April in San Diego. She was so exited to see them live, she cried. I was happy to have my now almost twenty three year old next to me sharing this beautiful concert. I think this was the opening song ♥

I lost my Mother in late March, her birth month. She had been fighting cancer on and off for several years. This song reminds me of her last few months, she was home but under hospice care, because of the strength of the pain meds I would only have spells of chatting with her with the clear brilliant mind she had, this song reminds me of those so blessed times. I not only lost my Momma, but I lost my best friend. Will forever hold this song close to my heart.

I have decided to publish (in book form) some inspirational tales from such people. I am collecting stories (single pager) from people who have suffered in the worst possible ways from depression and have tried to commit (or thought of) suicide. They can share their suicide notes, the story of how they have battled their way out and survived and ending with a smiling (inspirational) picture of theirs. Saw them in San Marcos, Justin came into the crowd right to me put his arm around me and I put my arm around him and we started singing and jamming together, it was an awesome experience. It felt so surreal, I couldn't believe it was happening. Love you Justin!!

This song is an amazing testament to music. It makes you feel the moment and embrace it. Seeing this among other songs performed live with the most important people in my life was a gift and a dream come true. No one really knows how much this band has helped me get through some of the hardest parts of my life. I thank them for helping to create the person I am. Together "We Sway".

First introduced to Blue October when Hate Me came out but I'm african american / Indian over the years have followed them every since wish they would come to Rochester,N.Y. one day but I guess the venue isn't big enough ? Justin's lyric's and life expresss everything I went thrpough in an 8 year relationship with an addict. When ever I'm am anger upset depresseed all I have to do is play their music "It send me to another plane" I can refocus reset my mind and continue my plans for the day. I have no regret about that peroid in my life because it was nothing more than a lerning experience something I had to go through in order to make me a better person. I thank these guys for sticking together look forward to where ever the music takes them next !!!!!!!!!!!

This bands music helped hugely in getting my mother get sober, and this was her song she listened (and still listens) to every time she would feel suicidal, or on the verge of relapse, they have also helped with my own thoughts of ending it all... to this day I listen to their music every day, there’s a reason I have their music tattooed all over my ribs, this band means so much to me and I hope it means the same to many others.

I think of with this song of how much I wish to be with the one I love. He moved to my area after 36 years. 8 years alone me. Worth it to know someone so loving now . Nice to have someone help and care about me.I used to play with him as a kid. The way he cradles me when sleeping is precious. He is working hard to get established this area. My wife introduced me this band, she has this song title tattooed on her forearm. We lived an hour apart when we first met, and our early dates were meeting in the middle and sitting in her car, listening to music. This song reminds me of the beginning of our relationship, both because she showed me this song and the lyric "I only want to dance with you, every time I try, we only get an hour or so" Those few hours every week were worth it though, it led to where we are now :)

Saw them in San Marcos, Justin came into the crowd right to me put his arm around me and I put my arm around him and we started singing and jamming together, it was an awesome experience. It felt so surreal, I couldn't believe it was happening. Love you Justin!!

Honestly my favorite video of theirs because it captures what it feels like at a concert. Simple, beautiful. Justin dances the same in concert and gets so into the song that it seems like it's the first time he's getting to perform it. Nailed it. Perfect!

First introduced to Blue October when Hate Me came out but I'm african american / Indian over the years have followed them every since wish they would come to Rochester,N.Y. one day but I guess the venue isn't big enough ? Justin's lyric's and life expresss everything I went thrpough in an 8 year relationship with an addict. When ever I'm am anger upset depresseed all I have to do is play their music "It send me to another plane" I can refocus reset my mind and continue my plans for the day. I have no regret about that peroid in my life because it was nothing more than a lerning experience something I had to go through in order to make me a better person. I thank these guys for sticking together look forward to where ever the music takes them next !!!!!!!!!!!

This bands music helped hugely in getting my mother get sober, and this was her song she listened (and still listens) to every time she would feel suicidal, or on the verge of relapse, they have also helped with my own thoughts of ending it all... to this day I listen to their music every day, there’s a reason I have their music tattooed all over my ribs, this band means so much to me and I hope it means the same to many others.

I think of with this song of how much I wish to be with the one I love. He moved to my area after 36 years. 8 years alone me. Worth it to know someone so loving now . Nice to have someone help and care about me.I used to play with him as a kid. The way he cradles me when sleeping is precious. He is working hard to get established this area. Only a few nights of that the cradling. So when I dance alone I think of him and listen to this song. Work, family obligations been getting in the way sometimes. It is like even all that time apart he knows my soul.

My wife introduced me this band, she has this song title tattooed on her forearm. We lived an hour apart when we first met, and our early dates were meeting in the middle and sitting in her car, listening to music.
This song reminds me of the beginning of our relationship, both because she showed me this song and the lyric "I only want to dance with you, every time I try, we only get an hour or so"
