I wish you could hear the joy in your voice being out hunting again! Love it!! I know your secret place and it makes a couple of those finds make so much sense!!!
I believe that is part of an old fishing reel John. I am so glad to see another video of THGT. My arthritis only allows me to hunt for 2 to 3 hours at a time.
Hmm...could be. My dad seems to think it is a tea strainer, but is unsure. I feel ya...only 3-4 hours and I need 3-4 days to recover lol. Father time is a cruel bastard.
look at you go. Been gone for awhile to recover. Now your scoring silvers and a love token.. I think that thing you broke might have been a tea ball or coffee dunker thingamajig.. Exciting Hunt HunterGT ..Congrats on the Mercs. Happy Hunting. Peace
Well, I don't know about "recover" lol...but good enough to get back at it for another year or two hopefully. I think you are right about it being for tea (or coffee). Thanks Dan!
I think your lock piece is a padlock front John. The last thing looks like a small pulley. Good hunt with the Triple Triple and a Canadian coin as well in great condition. The Heads and Tails coin is the clear winner though!
At first glance, I thought the dome shaped thingy at 5min was the dome off a bicycle bell, it has the indented part that the spinning mechanism would strike. But that doesn't explain an inner strainer. Is the large circular piece at about 11 min, with the key hole, part of a small clock?
do not show your places where do you hunting, the people like friends or others, in this hobby, usually you cannot trust on them, is better to be a lonely detectorist. i wish you lucky, you have good vibes
Thanks - good vibes back at ya. As far as my detecting friends, I do not mind if they know about this spot, I would let them know. Watching them hit good finds brings me joy. I hide it for the guys I don't know and have never met - strangers. There are a few of them in my local area.
Nice finds. Nice machine. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching!
3 in a row, you are on fire John. GREAT to hear your narrative videos again.
Burning hot! Thanks!
I miss watching and learning from You. Good to see your back in action.
Very kind. I don't know how much knowledge I have to offer anymore, but I will keep uploading the videos as long as my body lets me.
Nothing like 3 hunts of silver! And they are getting better. Definitely a welcome back! Congrats!
Make it 4 hunts...hit another Merc on Saturday. Coming next video. Thanks! Hopefully a Barber or seated up next.

Thanks David. Quite the hot streak.
Nice hunt !!
Thanks!
My brother in law found one of those heads tails coin. Pretty epic!
Definitely not what I was expecting to pop up.

Might be for a clock where the winding key goes in. Good guess. I still have no clue about the strainer ball. I've heard 4-5 different things already.
Great hunt bro.
Thanks Rick.
Say Hunter... Where exactly is that location again? Just asking for a friend!
Make the left turn at Albuquerque!
I was there for that war. Well I was just watching off to the side. But yeah I can confirm it happened.
Proof right here ladies and gents.
Hahaha you figured me out🙃🙃🙃🙃
So...about those geese... 😎😎
Clever stuff Liz.
No 77 penny huh? Let’s hope I can jinx it again.😂
Diabolical!
