I used to knit a lot, then stopped for awhile due to me getting old ( aches on my finger joints and eyes getting tired). I just watched this video tonight and see that the current messages to you are from 10 months ago! I had never heard of Tunisian Crochet back then. I found some single knitting needles with hooks on the other end. No one could tell me what they were for, so I googled them! I am self taught by watching your videos. Every new stitch I have learned, I've practiced by making dish cloths for gifts! I just finished two sweater sleeves and am waiting for my 1st cabled hook to get here in Thursday's mail. Wow! seeing your video inspire me to keep on crocheting which I love to do and try new stitch, this Tunisian stitch is marvelous and I love it. I say I am quite a quick learner to see different kinds of stitch, but the the way you show it on your video is easy for me to understand and get it and learn. As I was watching your video in my mind I see myself crocheting the same stitch as you. Thank you for sharing such amazing video. I love this stitch! What a beautiful texture. I especially like that it's an easy repeat but looks sophisticated. I also like that it forms a more solid fabric, like both the knit and simple stitches but gives a more interesting visual effect. I'll probably use this one on my next wrap. And, I know your book has been out awhile but congratulations on it. I might just have to get this one for myself for Christmas. Thank you for ALL your wonderful tutorials. I am NEVER disappointed when you post a new video, Toni! This stitch is just what I love most about Tunisian crochet. I was looking for a Tunisian granite or linen stitch and nothing I saw did it for me... until now! In fact, the Chill stitch is perfect. That deep ruby Twill with it's shadowy honeycomb is as sexy as it is mysterious! Thanks! You have fired my imagination again. 🤩

I just watched this video tonight and see that the current messages to you are from 10 months ago! I had never heard of Tunisian Crochet back then. I found some single knitting needles with hooks on the other end. No one could tell me what they were for, so I googled them! I am self taught by watching your videos. Every new stitch I have learned, I've practiced by making dish cloths for gifts! I just finished two sweater sleeves and am waiting for my 1st cabled hook to get here in Thursday's mail. I am very interested in learning more stitches and projects. I would LOVE to get a book signed by you, if you have any left!!

So, I clicked on this video to learn this amazingly beautiful stitch (baby blankets are calling to me with this stitch, so gosh darn GORGEOUS) and then she pops out her book. I dove for the remote to pause the video and grabbed my phone to order. Before I hit submit, I continued the video in case of anything extra. And then Toni made me cry.

Wow! seeing your video inspire me to keep on crocheting which I love to do and try new stitch, this Tunisian stitch is marvelous and I love it. I say I am quite a quick learner to see different kinds of stitch, but the the way you show it on your video is easy for me to understand and get it and learn. As I was watching your video in my mind I see myself crocheting the same stitch as you. Thank you for sharing such amazing video. Your funny and cute, you put humorous into your crocheting and make it fun to watch and hear you talk on your very one stitch. God bless you. PS: I think this stitch will be nice for a Newborn Baby Blanket to make as I am going to be a great grandma soon this coming year 2022.
I love this stitch! What a beautiful texture. I especially like that it's an easy repeat but looks sophisticated. I also like that it forms a more solid fabric, like both the knit and simple stitches but gives a more interesting visual effect. I'll probably use this one on my next wrap. And, I know your book has been out awhile but congratulations on it. I might just have to get this one for myself for Christmas. Thank you for ALL your wonderful tutorials. You are the one I first learned Tunisian crochet from and you're still my favorite instructor.
