Jacob enjoy watching your videos. I have been fishing for 55 years and always pick up a few tips from watching you. Obviously what makes you a great professional bass fisherman is the enjoyment and passion you get from catching every fish. I live in Ontario Canada which is home to thousands of hidden and remote fishing lakes. I love to find and fish these lakes which has resulted in some very memorable days on the water.
I love your channel bro. You and Scott Martin got me the bass fever 2 years ago. I never had the desire to fish, The wife wanted me to thank you both because it gets me out of her hair.
We always pull the truck in and unhook the boat from the truck and turn them both around at the ramp. This is an excellent place to fill the boat with perch!
Love this format. I’m a local.. and hope to see you explore more of these tiny mountain lakes that aren’t big enough for tournaments, but still a blast to fish and they are definitely an adventure. Check out Chilhowee, Appalachia, Blue Ridge, Parksville, and Indian Boundary. All clear water mtn lakes with just enough bass to have some fun.
Great video. Loved it. I'm moving to Tennessee in January from South Carolina. Got to find me spots when I get there. I will be in the Cookeville area if you know any good places around there.
Jacob, half the fun is just exploring new waters. I'm always excited to see what is around the next bend of a river, lake or any body of water. Enjoyed taking the trip with you.🎣🐟
Jacob you’re my role model I hope to be as good you one day and what I’d do just to be able to fish beside you one time now that’s be a dream come true!!
Nice Kong!!!! Driving rig for a living I drive by so many bodies of water that don't get fished like those farm ponds created from building the highways. They gotta' be loaded with bass that have never seen artificial baits. And it kills me not to be able to fish them.
New water is the next best thing, I love it when mlf takes it off the grid to places that aren't on the radar so to speak, Wait did that day snakes I'm out
I thought with all the fuss at the beginning you'd be dragging a tinny through the bush to get to this lake. Son, if you have a gravel road, you are golden 🤣 I've trailered a boat to lakes where exposed bedrock was your road, only because trees won't grow on that spot. Where I'm worried the truck is going to roll over at the next turn. Where you went is what we call a national park here in Canada 😆
Buddy I cannot even believe you found that place you drove right by my house going down there there is some Giants in that little reservoir you just have to know the sneak holes in the sneak holes lol
Tons of us fish that lake for bass. It’s more known for yellow perch. It has giant spotted bass in there. A guy I work with had the official state record spot from there several years ago. It gets a lot of kayak fishing and flat bottom boats. Your dedicated to back a trailer down that rd but you got lucky in that nobody was at the “launch” or you’d of been in a pickle. Nowhere to park or turn around.
I love fishing lakes like that with no homes on the lake. I wish you would weigh the fish. A lot of pros don’t weigh fish on TH-cam. You’re probably accurate with your estimate but it’s fun seeing numbers on a scale.
I know where you are lol you have to unhook your boat at the rock and turn it around by hand and pull back up in front of it to back it in! Your welcome lol
I think he knows how big fish are. He’s only won multiple tournaments and arguably the best fisherman on the tour right now. But hey I’m sure you know better right😂

One of the best things was you backing the boat about a mile! I enjoyed it all, but your precision casting under the hangovers was to die for !
Wheelers video's are just the best, he's a character and always fun to watch.
I swear whatever Cologne he wears has to attract them! Its like jordan. Its gotta be the shoes. But only the Cologne. Great content as always
I love your channel bro. You and Scott Martin got me the bass fever 2 years ago. I never had the desire to fish, The wife wanted me to thank you both because it gets me out of her hair.
😂😂
Thanks for the casting class with that frog. A pure joy to watch!!
Gotta love backwater bucket mouth bassin! Nice work wheelin and dealin bass to the boat!!
So great to see how much Wheeler enjoys and respects the fish.
Good ol Tumbling Creek. I live 5 minutes from this place.
man to see the precision of your casting is amazing. I wish we could see more like these in the mix!!!
That transition was so good, I thought you whacked one on that swim bait lol
Man that place is kayak heaven. Awesome.
We always pull the truck in and unhook the boat from the truck and turn them both around at the ramp. This is an excellent place to fill the boat with perch!
That’s cool man. That’s a great little lake. I need to get a boat so I can go upstream further than I can on my kayak
Let me know if you ever wanna go on mine!

@@firstname5632 or odd extremely finicky. Fun when it’s on though!
ReelHookCast your talking about app lake in NC/Tn
@@Wookie1122 that’s the one I’m referring to. Great little secret lake. Full of rattlesnakes and ticks if anyone asks ;)
Great video. Fun stuff for sure. The casting exhibition during the video was a great watch even if you had caught nothing. Thanks!

Taking a trip to the boundary waters this summer. Can’t wait!
Man I would have drove that the normal way and just unhooked that trailer at that point. But none the less always good for some backing skills.
I know exactly where this is!!! Saw so many giants swimming around!!!!!!
Pretty dang awesome to go to a place that you've found & catch some slouches, great adventure!
Slounches not slouches
loved this video reminds me of exactly what i love doing finding new spots and doing my best to make it happen
Awesome video! Our home area has so many beautiful little fishing spots. Hope to see more videos like this.
Love the videos man, and I can't wait until Tournament season.
Love it!! Makes me want to get another cheap beater boat and find new water!!

Best video yet! Old school exploring!
Love the action of your rods. What your 2 favorite rods in your lineup?

Solid video once again! Good work.

nice man as always ! fellow hoosier here. i just made a vid with one of your accent spinnerbaits
Almost reminds me of a road that I had to back a 53’ trailer down before, took some time but I made it happen
That was fun! Thanks for the fishing lesson.
Liking the adventure fishing videos
Very cool thanks
Next addition to the boat, a big ole bell 🔔 to ding on em bigguns! Where was the secret bait?!
Beautiful bass great fishing
Reminds me of fishing the strip pits in southeast Kansas
You gotta do these all the time, bring MDJ next time you all stay live on the water and tight line em
One day mahn.. Ima be just like this guy
The Tennessee and NC mountains are the most beautiful place on earth.
JDub best vid is awhile…. Now come down here to Ft Myers and show me how to catch bass in Florida. Ha. (Michigan transplant).
Don’t ever admit that lol
I see that others have asked as well but I'd love to know the brand and color of frog that you were throwing period thanks so much
This was cool i love trekking to spots on Google earth that look super fishy. Thanks man we appreciate the content
Awesome content and video Jacob 💥💥🇺🇸🇺🇸
Remote fishing awesome Jacob!
great video to watch.
That was cool Jacob.
This is great! Thanks man!
I know where that's at been wondering if I could get my triton down there
You have to emit some sort of pheromone that attracts bass to you. I don’t get it. Lol. You will end up being the GOAT. Good shit.
And this is coming from somebody from Dayton, who’s wife is Kim to Andy Morgan. Lol
I love fishing lakes like that with no homes on the lake. I wish you would weigh the fish. A lot of pros don’t weigh fish on TH-cam. You’re probably accurate with your estimate but it’s fun seeing numbers on a scale.
What finesse jig do you through
Agree we need to know
Fun video.. good stuff!
I have been fishing that lake since I was a kid never put are bass boat in it thought you could only put a Jon boat in it lol
Was this in Tennessee? I feel like whenever I think I've found something like this it ends up being on someone's private property
What rod and frog are you using
A damn good time! thx!
That’s Santeelah or Hiwassee it’s been a while since I been out that way
reminds me of the upper James river in Virginia.
Just about every lake in TN/VA looks like this and the fishing is usually tough from the pressure
Good stuff boys
We call it lost lake. Its perch fishing paradise
Is that close to copper hill?
Road like that hold the best usually.
Is that a balloon in the trees at 7:00?? Sorta creepy
Fun video!
I know where you are lol you have to unhook your boat at the rock and turn it around by hand and pull back up in front of it to back it in! Your welcome lol
Yep lots of yellow perch in that lake.
Tons
There's bass in puddles so you know theres definitely some fish in that lake
Does Mr Jacob reply if so I was wondering what settings you run your GoPro on? Just bought a hero 10
4K 30 FPS auto everything with an iso max of 1600
@@WheelerFishing heck ya thank you!!
Random, do you have massive hands or are your reels tiny?
What poppin frog were you throwing ?
Where is that located?
AWSOME.....
Did he just use my channel name?😂😂
All seriousness love your content
😲😲😲
Mantap
"fishing in the dog days off summer" but uses top water instead of a bottom bait or deep diving bait
Hey buddy would you be willing in selling some fishing stuff I’m just trying to get started to bass fish hard man you inspired me so much man
Uhhhh Ding
when are the DING HATS COMING BACK???????
I know that spot. 🤔🤔
🤫
Yeah keep that crap private. Already enough out of towners showing up.
Calls it a "hidden lake" but it has a trail going straight to it that has obvious signs of vehicles going down it lol
Where’s this hidden spot?
If I can find it I will be there tomorrow.
You say alot of s words for someone with a lisp
You went down a paved road. You would likely cry doing some of the things we've done
You called a 4 pounder a 6 pounder... You desperately need a scale
I think he knows how big fish are. He’s only won multiple tournaments and arguably the best fisherman on the tour right now. But hey I’m sure you know better right😂
