Raise ur hand if you hate docks tho lol , part of it is my home lake had a dock every 20 feet around the entire lake. Its a pain.
@@CMDAVISs love fishing docks man confidence is just so high fishing docks you know exactly where the fish will be so you know your baits in the strike zone, that’s how I look at it from there you have your key docks but it’s a statistical game overall

It honestly goes against everything I’ve ever learned about a chatterbait/bladed jig. Dirty water and wind is what I always thought you had to have for that jig. A chatterbait is my comfort bait. And I always set it to the side when I see conditions like what they are fishing in. Thank you for posting this Jacob.

Not knowing how to tie a knot is why I'm always suspect of line reviews on TW. Especially on flourocarbon.
Pro tip on the ice coffee. Make coffee ice cubes that way it doesn't water down throughout the day.

Go through the eye then come back through the same way to create a loop then twist, come through the loop and finish off the normal way. Doubled improved clinch. That and palomar are my two go to knots.

Learn alot from watching you. If your ever in southeast Missouri fishing try lake Wappapello. It hardest lake to catch bass on for me and nobody wants to help me even though I've done free hvac work for them bcuz they tell me they don't have enough money and promised to help with few pointers on lake. I've recently tried to get a pro tournament out here to but nobody wants to talk to me or ignores me.

I tie 3 half hitches, then tie a 4th but thread/wrap it the opposite direction of the first three couple light tugs and I’ve not had it break yet on my fg knot. I cut the tags super short and it runs great through the guides.

DC I tie the fisherman’s knot but I double the line and tie same way. Doubled through the eye and strong as hell.
I like the back of the boat camera angle!
That bass with the snake, I caught more than one, with a snake sticking out its mouth ! LOL
When u tie the improved clinch w fluro u can put the line thru the eyelet 2 times amd them wrap it up the line 6x and finish it like u do the improved clinch. Works great for me, but im not a pro lol

Took me a year to get the fg knot correct, being left handed no1 showed how to tie that way and for me the knot kept pulling out. It’s by far best braid to floro knot!! Use light color clothing.
My favorite knot is a double San Diego jam knot.
I've seen a few different ways, but can you do a video of how you tie your line onto a baitcaster reel. Would be greatly appreciated!

I understand why DC gets frustrated fishing docks he's just like me I spend more time getting hung up on cables than catching fish.
@Wheeler Fishing ... do you feel there is best bait for skipping boat docks like you were on Travis? Or, is it lake-specific or season-specific? Looked like a white bladed jig with white trailer you were using. Just wondering if that is a universally good bait for that type of fishing or does it change? Thanks!

So Dustins knot is what i call a paw paw knot. the best knot is the paw paw knot doubled only twisted 3 times. 3 tags all day dont break start it.
I had problems with braid wearing grooves in the tips of my Duckett rods. I broke them off and replaced the tip. Ceramic is the way to go

Jacob please let DC know he is 50% there!! I love the clench knot as well but if you want the best of both!! Tie it the same way he did on the video but double the line first and drop to 6 twist. Same deal don’t cross the two and you will never break it on a hook set.. Never!! Test it.

Thats all I tie and rarely brake off. Cant remember the last time I broke off. When I do braid I don't send the double through twice . Mabe ill try to beat it but thats pretty darn fast jw !

I don’t use a palimar knot… I use a knot my grandfather taught me back in the early 90s I don’t even know the name of it! Take the hook threw the eye then twist the hook seven or eight times then take the leader part of the line threw the hole that is created by the twisting and then pull tight. Best way I can describe it without actually showing you.
