    Just something to note, I watch a lot of reviews on my truck, before I bought it and after, not bashing, but why do ALL reviews done just pander to the manufacturer, us diesel owners want to know what have they done to improve on the EGR and DPF system, those two things alone are killing the lifespan of theses trucks, now Ford is the ONLY MANUFACTURER that allows the owner to perform an OCR or operator command regen, like a static regeneration, allows the owner to do a regen in park, so they don’t have to drive another 30-45 minutes to complete one, and I want you to know, you do the BEST reviews on TH-cam IMO, made my wife switch from explorer to a new KIA Tellueride as soone as the are available

    ‪2019 ford f250 6.7l power stroke , i don’t know much about diesel, how would this truck do as a daily driver/short trip truck, (no deletes) no towing or hauling, 6 miles to work and 6 miles back home? a grocery getter. long trip once a year‬. i just want a big truck, i like the sound of the 6.7l power stroke diesel.

    • @piyush6089

      K bomb diesels are not made for short trips, diesels are better if you are driving for hours everyday, and these are actually made for towing, not saying don’t get it, but in the future it will get expensive to maintain, plus it becomes more expensive to fill up the gas tank, cause Diesel Particulate Filters don’t like short trips

    How come you guys always review only the new top of the line cars and trucks alot of people like me can't afford a 70 80 90 thousand dollar vehicle. There are other trim levels as well. Some of us don't want need or care for all the other crap that automakers put on vehicles to overcharge and jack up the price. My biggest gripe of all is the dam sun/moon roofs that's the biggest joke. I've had one and I take care of my trucks but I've had nothing but problems like leaks breaking tracks, leakage, or binding up and breaking the glass, and the motor burning up and causing a fire and the truck was still under factory warranty. It's hard to find a good new used truck with the features that I want without having a sunroof.

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Keith! You are right, we do normally review the highest trim level. There's a reason for this, though. The loaded model has ALL of the available equipment to show off to viewers interested in the high trims. If we do a basic trim, there's nothing to show, whereas if you aren't interested in the high trims you can just know that feature won't be on the lower models.

    • @keithhughes2936
      @keithhughes2936 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CarConfections showcase some of the lower trim levels so we poor people lol... can see what we can get for lesser money. And this gripe is not personal towards you but it's to all the review people and yall cater to the masses that want to see it and try to afford them and lose their asses and that's great but think of us little people too. I have other family members and one friend that can afford those but they choose a lower trim levels for their everyday trucks in this case we live in Texas and they take a beating around here and they look for those types of reviews. So 70 80 thousand dollar truck doing some work or some destructive people or kids breaking things is going to be a expensive repair just because of the trim level. Alot of places do charge more for parts on a higher level than a lower level. Sorry for the rant but I've been wanting to say something about it

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@keithhughes2936 Haha, no we definitely understand. Especially when it comes to these pickup trucks it does change a lot among the trim levels. Mirrors are legally mandated and cannot be replace by cameras, at least not yet. As for why they have to be so big, how about some common sense? Bigger mirrors = better visibility. When you're a bigger and longer vehicle, when you haul and tow, more visibility is what you need.

      K bomb that why I bought mine, I occasionally tow a 5thwheel travel trailer, when and if you decide to purchase, ask the dealership to turn on the OCR, operator command regen, you can do a DPF regeneration while in park anywhere instead of completing a driver regen, but only when the DPF soot level reaches 120%, it’s the only manufacturer that allows it, and it’s across all trim levels, love mine!
