I have been a victim of mass media advertising by Gillette. I am in my early 40s with sensitive skin and didn't know that the key to a close shave without irritation and ingrown hairs is not Gillette Skin guard cartridge which does not shave closely but a single blade razor, whether double edge or single edge. All I need is only two passes, with the growth and across and I am smooth. You guys on TH-cam have really been doing a great public good for all men.
Hi Ken! I just aquired my 1st Sir Henry's Soap and Aftershave, QUARTET. Which is their version of Barbershop. I give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10 as far as the soap and 9 as far as the Aftershave. The Aftershave was phenomenal and one of the best I've used. The soap fragrance is ok and has a unique twist. I say give it a shot to any Barbershop enthusiasts. Take care and SHAVE ON BROTHER!
Once I discovered the 6C I had to have the 6S. Every time I try any of my other DEs, I know why the 6S is my daily driver. Congratulations on your upcoming 800th video. When I got back into DE wet shaving your videos were some of the first I watched. Keep them coming.
These guys on TH-cam maybe saving the next generation. We have been fooled for decades into aggressive cartridge shaving. I was too young to shave when the Gillette sensor came about in the early 90s but my older brother was a young adult who used it. From the 90s you could find de safety razors in drugstores or big retailers so the Sensor was the go to for shaving if not disposables. I starting with the mach 3 and would get irritation bumps, and worse yet those 5 bladed irritating carts.
Glad you have another wet shaving store to choose from. I wish there was anything near me. One of our better grocery stores has Proraso green in a tube and that is about it so thanks to the internet I can get more. I’m old school so would love a brick and mortar to go to.
I have the Rockwell 6c and like it. My favorite is the Karve CB. Have the brass and aluminum. Both shave great but the weight is dramatically different. Tom Ford is the Cadillac of colognes. The most expensive I have is the original Aqua DeGio. Great stuff. Take care.
799 vids wow. I gotta say, your the one who got me to try wet shaving 2 going on 3 years ago. Your vids you did on starting out wet shaving are in my opinion are the best. Great shave tonight btw. I love my rockwell 6c. Never have had a bad shave with it. And i will check out the wet shaving store. Have a great week Ken 👍
Great shave. 800 videos may sound like too much, but really it just shows how far you’ve gone since the beginning. These videos have helped me when I started wet shaving and they still do as I progress in the 2 years of DE razor shaving since then. I can’t thank you enough for that. Have a good one!
Ken🪒💈 Nice shave. I have both 6S and 6C, the 6C has a more slick glide account the chrome plate but the 6S is in no way grabby and is way more substantial in the hand. Can't go wrong with either really, comes down to cost vs materials IE: Plated Zinc or MIM SS. 800 vids..outstanding! Enjoy!
In my shave den I have many very good razors ( also I had a lousy one , the qshave parthenon adjustable ), and the rockwell 6 gunmetal is maybe the best one I have , I use always head nr 2, with this razor I can shave without any problem, very soft razor and very very good quality , can stay for a lifetime , regards robert
Awesome, what great timing to drop another video. I just bought the Rockwell T2 in rose gold. Rockwell is sweet. I’ve been looking at the 6S I’m thinking about buying it. The 6S looks like a hefty razor I like heavy razors. Another great shave ken 🤙👍👍
Yooooo, I’m gonna have to pick up that kensurfs brush. The gold and purple is too nice. Got an abundance of synthetics as of late, so I’ll probably snag one in Badger next week. Cheers!
Hi Ken, I am a big fan of Sir Henry’s. I have every scent they make with the exception of LVS which you used. On my list for sure. Glad you tried it. Your new brush is gorgeous. Best, Glenn
Man talk about inflation! I bought my 6 s for $99. I bought the 6 c with all the plates for $50 and I think the model t was around $100. There was a really long wait for the model t at the time.
I love the scent of Vanilla, Lavender and Sandalwood, but my brain just can't add the three scents together and imagine how that might smell. If you say it smells good, then I will take you at your word, but it's beyond me without direct experience what in the world that would smell like blended. Anyway... enjoyed the video and must admit that I'm curious about that soap. Take care and we will watch out for you on number 800 soon. William C. central Indiana.
Im about an hour & half from the Huntington Beach area and would really like to visit a wet shaving store. I know you’ve mentions a couple of store in your previous videos but can’t remember the name of the stores or the videos you mentions them in. Mind giving me the names ?
Do you have any tips and tricks to shave close to the lips and under the nose? I tend to have difficulty shaving the hair in the crease right under the nose and very close the the edges of my lips (don't want to cut myself so go even more gently than normal). I try the blowing air pockets and stretching techniques, and tried starting from the middle/edge of the nose crease and still get similar issues.
Hi Ken, One advice: wash your face and neck area first with lukewarm water with a wascloth. Do not use any soap. All the dirt will be gone, the pories are all open and the shave will be much more comfortable, no more nicks and cuts. Making your skin wet with water is not good enough.

I'm a Rockwell 6-C man, myself! Also: QShave Mercury Future clone, Viking's Blade Crusader Rangarr edition, anonymous open comb head, Mercury 34C (kinda neglected) and a Weishi long handle TTO!
If you go to your channel page, you should be able to see all new comments from new and old videos alike
I just might have to buy that brush. I wasn’t planning on buying another brush, but that looks sharp!
For me the plate 5 and 6 gives me a close shave

Didn`t know Mr. Ford made the Creed. Sterling soap co. makes a version of Ford`s tobacco/vanilla.Beautiful. 1/10 of the price.
Gillette aristocrat adjustable and chubby brush for your 800th giveaway video would be awesome kensurf🍷
Awesome shave Ken. It had to be something on your lip because it is difficult to cut yourself with a Rockwell razor. Take care.
Im about an hour & half from the Huntington Beach area and would really like to visit a wet shaving store. I know you’ve mentions a couple of store in your previous videos but can’t remember the name of the stores or the videos you mentions them in. Mind giving me the names ?
I can watch the burn reaction over and over..
Keep hearing great things about the Rockwell. When’s Father’s Day again?….. lol

Every time I watch your videos... I keep forgetting to watch the new James Bond movie..

Good evening, Ken…
Thanks Calvin👍💈
This essay Fine's best splash...why would they ever, of all their splashes, cancel this one? Crazy.

Just stand there and watch me burn
