I find the Rockwell 6S a great shave. If it was machined instead of molded it would cost $250+. Nice value for a razor of this quality. That was a super shave there Ken. Mennen Skin Bracer is still kick ass after all these years. Enjoy!
KenSurfs and Nick Shaves inspired me to get a Captain's Choice lather bowl. Got it about a week ago and I absolutely love it! A must have for any wet shaver.
I think the rockwell 6 is the best modern razor on the market today. Even on its more efficient plates, its still so smooth. Most razors that shoot for high efficiency sacrifice comfort. I've taken 4 months of beard off with the 5 plate no problem nearly as efficient as the r41 but 50× more smooth regardless of blade.
Great shave. I do physical exams at the doctors office every year, and there they check me for height, weight and blood pressure, and I get shots there which is the scariest part of going to the doctors. I've known Christopher Lee from Star Wars movies during the 2000s. He's been gone for a like few years, and hats off to him for great movies he appeared in

I love the classic colognes you are doing. As a 19 year old I feel like kids my age get caught up in the smells of body spray say to much. Not really a classic but polo red is my favorite right now.
Skin Braver is my favorite aftershave! I feel bad because I have aftershave that I have spent more money on that just sit on the shelf. I looked for a similar scented soap and didn't find one. Thanks for the assist!

Hey Ken, looking great and keep up the good work on the weight goal! Did the ass pipe adventure last year for the first time. I think we fret over something we later find wasn't a big deal. Besides, you get good dope. Remember very little about it...woohoo! Great shave, and really glad you're enjoying the Rockwell. Used mine a couple days ago on the 2-plate as well. 3/4-plate is probably the best all-around for me. A couple months ago, I was lucky to swing a Paradigm 17-4 stainless. Like you said, right blade is critical. But that razor is sumpin, man. Also found a few Wizamet brown and gold, Polish-made "Super Iridium" blades online. As smooth, or smoother than the current PolSilver's, now made in Russia. So...the Rockwell has been mostly taking a little break lately... Not sure if you've tried any of "Mike's Natural Soap" before. "Hungarian Lavender" is terrific! Inexpensive too, when in stock. Cheers!

Sharp, and a touch smoother on my mug. I used a 34C and Arko for both shaves. I followed both shaves with Avon Leather from a 1954 Buick shaped bottle.. lol Cheers!
If you like rockwell 6s on 2/3 try a karveshaving Christopher Bradley Razor with a B plate. That thing has replaced my rockwell 6s for DE shaving. And it's priced in Canadian at 99 CAD which is only around 78 USD.
blarg, very interesting razor indeed but the B plate got the same blade gap that the plate number 6 for the Rockwell and the less agressive plate AA is like the R3. Of course blade gap is not the only parameter to consider for measuring agressivity. Thank's again, I love brass and the fact we can buy guards separetly

Not looking to collect too many things, one razor to rule them all will hopefully satisfy me for some years to come, trying out new software along the way. What's your favourite blade for the 6S? I see you and other people trying a lot of blades but I don't remember seeing particular recommendations about which is the best or which to avoid (I know it's often subjective for the user, is it impossible to recommend a blade objectively, as is the case with a lot of razors?). I've read an opinion that the Feather is not the best match for the 6S, that's about it. Do you find the Voskhod very good for the 6S and your skin? Cheers.)

Love the James Bond stuff, especially the Sir Roger stuff. I've got a few framed things myself like some posters and the original 35mm film strips. I was surprised at how cheap you can get frames from those old film reels on ebay here in the UK. Glad I just do the colon test on the sample slab cards. I always have quarterly full bloodwork and urinalysis "Be Well" checkups..and the usual female tests. Guys are the worst about going to the doctors.
