What The Queen Said To Me At My Investiture Ceremony at Buckingham Palace | Mo Farah

I recently had the honour of being knighted by Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace. When I came to the UK from Somalia aged 8, not speaking any English, who would have thought that my running would eventually lead me here? This was another very special gold medal for me and I am so honoured to have received it. Here’s a little glimpse of how the day went for me.

Hey I am a 10th grader looking to run sub 4:40 in the 1600 this year, just finished cc and taking two weeks off then back at running. I was wondering what type of workouts I should do over the winter I wanted to start at a more conversational low milage week then build up and start incorporating tempos long runs steady state runs and goal pace intervals and speed. When should I start incorporating this stuff and how much? And should my mileage be mostly all aerobic during the winter?
