Why wouldn't you have routed all of the speaker wire to the back of the head unit and picked up the harness in one place?

Hoping to do this soon with a 5 channel. Just curious, why under the passenger seat and not driver? My passenger seat has to flip forward almost every time i go somewhere, so i would prefer it in a less volatile location.
