Need assistance. Replaced EVAP Sensor and purge valve engine light went off thinking all good but EVAP sensor not reading and preventing me from passing inspection. Drove vehicle way more than 100 miles and still not reading. Ive checked all hoses, gas cap, etc and still. Drove the truck between 50 - 55 mph and still. I have a 2016 Chevy Colorado z71. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Have you tried taking the negative terminal off the battery for like 10 mins to reset the computer?
Hoping to do this soon with a 5 channel. Just curious, why under the passenger seat and not driver? My passenger seat has to flip forward almost every time i go somewhere, so i would prefer it in a less volatile location.

Why wouldn't you have routed all of the speaker wire to the back of the head unit and picked up the harness in one place?

Replaced it on mine didn't work any ideas 2017 GMC canyon no gas cap model replaced it gas pump still shut off right away
This probably isn’t much help since it’s been over a year. If this didn’t work I believe there was a sensor in the engine bay I was going to replace. I just can’t remember what it is called.
Sounds like you need to remplace the purge valve solenoid
turn up the VOLUME!
Is this the v6? I have a 2.5l base model wondering if its located in same place as this one
Yeah this is the V6. I’m not sure if it’s the same as the 2.5.

I would have a check engine light if I needed to change this right and is the only symptom is won’t let you pump gas ?
I never had a check engine light when I had the pumping issue
