The unbelievable courage Ethan has from RE7 to RE8 is extraordinary. Especially having no idea what is happening most of the time, just keeps moving forward for his family. Ethan is a genuine badass.

Ethan has an indomitable human soul, leon is still my favourite but he’s a trained man and actually been through a lot, while ethan is just an ordinary dude that has no fears.

Ethan is my favorite because he is just a normal dude who ends up dead but still fought for Mia, then later on fights for his daughter. Even after dying a second time. Leon and Ethan genuinely are some of the coolest protagonists in any game I've played. Only comparison I have with another character in a somewhat similar situation is Isaac Clark.

If you look past the insanity, you can see that the bakers were nice people before the biohazard hit them. The way Jack took you in, the way zoey took care of your severed hand, the way Marguerite made you dinner even though you were a complete stranger, I truly feel sorry for these people, their family was ruined by a mold/fungus.
It makes their story even more compelling because when playing through it at first you’ll think “these people are crazy!” And then on play throughs after it’s “these people are crazy but it’s not their fault and they are still trying to fight it to this day”

His ability to call game plots is truly uncanny. Hes been able to do it successfully with a vast majority of the games hes played.... I definitely see why him and Mattpat get along so well XD

The ravens in the beginning are a bad sign for two reasons, both of which I love the symbolism behind: Reason A: there's superstition that if a raven flies over your head at dusk, or somewhere around sunset like the time where Ethan is, it means bad luck or foreboding Reason B: there's, again, superstition that if you find a dead raven on the path that you're walking on it means that death awaits if you go any further
7 years later and this is still the best play through of any youtuber He’s so smart too with the way he catches up to the story, puzzles and general game mechanics

Fun fact: after the dinner scene, if you let "Daddy" catch you (possibly only in the hatch room?), he very brutally demonstrates that the first aid items in the game are very intentionally meant to heal ridiculous amounts of physical injury, including dismemberment. It makes the whole thing more unsettling for me to see horrific bodily harm acknowledged as insignificant... for you and everyone else in the house with access to it.

The ravens in the beginning are a bad sign for two reasons, both of which I love the symbolism behind:

Fun fact: after the dinner scene, if you let "Daddy" catch you (possibly only in the hatch room?), he very brutally demonstrates that the first aid items in the game are very intentionally meant to heal ridiculous amounts of physical injury, including dismemberment. It makes the whole thing more unsettling for me to see horrific bodily harm acknowledged as insignificant... for you and everyone else in the house with access to it.
